That stupid light is still on the controller and now it will shine towards you instead of away from you. You better be able to turn that off.

I like the built in mic feature. I’m just not a headset guy, I can’t wear them, nor a big talker.

But I like this option if I’m playing 2k and just want to quickly say something....

About to read the controller info was at work all day and have not had time to read it yet. Sure hope the next ps5 news is about some of its games. Saw this to with the controller.

Not digging the official color scheme for the PS5 controller called the "DualSense"? Well, you're in luck as many mock-up images have already surfaced.

I'm sure there will be a lot of colorways for the Dualsense. For me, it doesn't really matter how it look. I'll play with any controller. I am leaning towards believing that the PS5 will be two tone or just plain white.

I can see Sony just trickling out info like this from here out. I see them just randomly dropping out info without any announcements. I don't mind that approach. I like that they could just drop tidbits here and there instead of dropping everything. When you drop tidbits instead of everything, important info doesn't get shadowed in bigger news. I originally thought it would be done with a State of Play. But I can see them dropping blogs here and there then have pre-recorded videos. I see most console and features before end of April.

I was always expecting $499. I always thought $400 was a big reach with speculated specs, and $450 isn't a likely price. Anything more than $499 might be a hard sell for a casual fan. With the heavy focus with SSD and more expensive controller and other console features, $499 is a reasonable price.

This seems like a situation where you are going to have to pre-order ASAP or you will miss out initially. I usually never got consoles at launch, so I never pre-ordered a console. Heck last time, I pre-ordered a game was almost 10 years ago. But this around, I have the interest and means to buy at launch. I already have the money saved up from late last year. I will pre-order as soon as it comes available.

I expect pre-order announcement will come with E3-esque digital event. I think we'll get the official PS5 consumer teardown within next 3 weeks. Then when they reveal the games in June, they reveal when the pre-order becomes live.

Hopefully everyone spent their money on toilet paper and won't have the money to buy a PS5, so I can get one.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Unless pandemic situation dies down and economy gets back to normalcy, I do think a lot of people are going to be more cautious with their spending. Unless you're a essential care worker, your source of income isn't guaranteed. I think most who will be hesitant are the parents. So 5-6 million is enough with current teams.

But I do expect pre-order sites to be high volume and possibly crash, especially if they announce when it goes live. I expect some pre-order sites to sell out within minutes.

I'm not expecting pre-orders for either next gen console until late August as both companies need to make sure everything is set and running as smoothly as possible before opening up pre-orders. And of course, having stores like Best Buy and GameStop actually be open.

Nope. I'm thinking in early May.

Sony can't wait too long because publishers are going to start showing off live footage of next games starting in late May. The IGN E3-esque only covers certain publishers, so I would expect other main publishers to reveal next gen games before or after the IGN one.

My guess is that we are going to get shown the system first week of may and then games some time in early june. I like the way they did things with ps4 better. 2013 with ps4 we basically got specs and tech demos in feb and everthing else at e3. Ps5 on the other hand its just been a little info at a time and we are getting game news later.

Pretty sure everyone would prefer the PS4 rollout than the PS5 rollout but there are valid reasons for this. First and foremost is the Covid19 pandemic. It's completely changed everyone's schedule, made developers work at home which is limited despite having all the PC equipment with them or not and of course, pretty much every single event has been cancelled.

Another aspect is that many believe the form factor isn't final for Sony but in fairness, they didn't show PlayStation 4 until E3 2013 which was the second week of June so I would say that if Sony doesn't reveal the console itself by the end of June, then I believe that it's safe to say that the form factor isn't final and could be going through a redesign but they have over two months before they get to that point so we just have to wait and see what happens.

Also, unlike 2013, Sony has gone through a crap ton of internal changes in regards to leadership and whatnot. Personally, Ryan/Layden should have put their differences aside until after launching PlayStation 5 and then in early 2021, Layden could have moved on with Ryan taking over. Due to all this though, whatever Sony had planned was more likely scrapped once Layden left because with new leadership brings a new direction which doesn't happen overnight.

At this point, just have to be patient and see how it all plays out.

If we don't see the system by the end of June i think its getting pushed to next year. Yeah the virus has changed things for sure but even before Sony was doing things different then before. I known last year like Sony didn't have like a lot but they skipped e3 and didn't do PlayStation experience for second year in a row. Also the first wired article or what ever that Sony did for ps5 was like march-April of 2019 don't remember but that was a surprising way to give first ps5 news and that was like a year and a half or so before ps5 release date. So yeah even before Virus Sony was doing things different. Looking back i kind of wish we had not gotten that first article has it only made it harder to go with out ps5 news after, and only made it seem like they were going to give more big details about ps5 sooner then they have.

When did the internal changes in regards to leadership start to happen again? Was it before or after that first ps5 article? I don't remember. But yeah its just getting hard to stay stay patient. Like a month or so ago Sony said they were giving news like they did back in 2013 with ps4 or something but really they are not has we got game news like i said in feb of 2013 for ps4. Right now we are already about 2 months later compared to ps4 2013 when it comes to being shown games. But yeah maybe that is because of the virus to not really sure.

With all the things being canceled this year its going to be interesting to see how next gen games/announcements are handle this year from different studios. I heard we where going to finally get the next batman arkham game shown/announced at e3 before it got canceled and maybe what ever rocksteady is working on to. Like are we going to get that in late may now instead? or still around normal e3 week time? Or will it be later. Like what about ps5 exclusives for launch. I also wonder if we are going to get PlayStation experience back this year or not. I could see Sony in late may or early June showing off games that should be ready by launch or very shortly after like the launch window games, and then maybe bring PlayStation experience back in December to give us a update on the launch window games, and also then showing/announcing more like late 2021 type of games and maybe even a few teaser's of what may came beyond 2021.
