How are you people getting invited? I signed up 6 months ago and NOTHING.

Signed up and waited. Got lucky. Nothing else to do after signing up but wait and hope.

I still have notifications turned on for the Hotstock app and it certainly seems like supply has been steadily increasing over the past month or so.

My local targets have had several drops since I bought mine from there. Amazon was taking invitation requests this morning, and I believe Walmart is live as I type this with a decent restock.

I’ve also seen several drops at big box stores like BJs and Costco.

If you actually want one at this point, I’d say screw waiting on a Sony invite. It takes minimal effort to set up an app like Hotstock. From there you just need to make sure you have an account registered with whatever prospective retailer you’re hoping to score one from. That and making sure you have a form of payment saved to said accounts.

If you can drop whatever you’re doing for 5 minutes or so when the notification comes in you definitely have more than a punchers chance at this point.

Something that would get me interested in PS Plus Premium is if they were to include Crunchyroll. I do hope that eventually include Crunchyroll/Funimation to PS Plus.

Because there will be a TLOUP2 Director's Cut and TLOUP3 at some point so I would imagine that Sony wants all 3 available natively on PS5. Plus the HBO show is early 2023.

I guess I should have stated that. The point is, I've haven't seen any in stock or online since I got my at launch. It was just a shock to my system when I saw them on the shelf.

I was trying to help a friend find one not long after launch and just gave up. I said they would be in stock in a few months. All this time later, nothing.

The new PS Plus tier system starts today. For me to upgrade to Extra is $17 vs $25 for Premium and that's good for the next 5 months that my subscription is good for. I'm not really interested in premium because I don't care for game trials or cloud streaming. But, I'm debating doing Premium for the next 5 months, just so I can add some of the Classic titles to my library. I'm interested in Extra, but for 8 more dollars, I'm leaning towards doing Premium until subscription is up for more games. Then I'll cancel it right before it runs out, and get the Extra tier.

I upgraded to Premium for $90 through 12/23, I’m excited to see what they’ll offer.
