      you need a HD receiver to watch HD. Best deal is the $399 deal from direct tv.

                  I see you're struggling with the whole HD thing Squid. I think if it's too much, wait until the price drops some. I agree it is alot. That's my car payment in a nutshell. I agree with you too, they should give you the reciever, but hey maybe they'll change their minds in time when they have more people using the service.
