Give it time as we approach the all digital signals in 06. I think it will be more popular with more choices. You should just get the satellite package since you already halfway there. I think Heelfan said he paid what 50 bucks for his antenna. That isn't too bad.

Re: Another HDTV questions info thread

I have another image burn question.

I leave for work and come home to find that my tv is on. The power went out, and when it came back on, it turned the tv on. You know the snowy looking picture that shows because the tv is on a channel like 122. Anyhow, that snowy looking picture seems ever so slightly burned into the tv when I watch it. The picture looks not as sharp as it was when I got it about 1 month ago. Can I get those guys at bestbuy to fix it with my warranty, or am I stuck with a fuzzier looking screen?

it all depends on the warranty, i know that some warranties don't cover burn-in...you'll have to check with the outlet that you bought it from

I'm not sure if mine does, but it wasn't my fault in any kind of way. I actually used all of the accessories they told me to use, and the surge protector is the reason the tv turned on when the power came back on. I called the warranty people, and I just told them my picture is alot fuzzier than when I bought it. Maybe they can give me a new picture tube or something.
