Maybe a little further, but more like you are close to being there yourself than watching a regular tv set.
Birdog, where can I find out about what you are referring to?

you can go to your local radio shack and ask for the sat-c upgrade kit for your directv sat.. or you can call directv and ask them to send it to you..they'll charge you though, and i'm not sure how muchComment

Is this upgrade worth it? Does it give me a true high def signal?
<hr /></blockquote><font class="post">
the upgrade will allow your dish to point to the 110 satellite, giving you access to the HD signals.. i put one on for my friend not too long ago, and his signal is great.. but if you want to cut out that hassle, you can just go pick up the HD dish...but it's ultimately up to youComment

Re: Another HDTV questions info thread
All I need is this sat-c LNB and I can get the signal. It doesn't matter that I have a regular dish. I saw a high def dish for 99 bucks, but my recievers are from Hughes. Does this even matter. I think the sat-c LNB cost about 60 bucks which is not hard to get.Comment
