King Kong
Anybody else excited to see this? It looks really good. I saw an extended trailer for it at E! and I couldnt take my eyes off of it. It was like Jurassic Park 4, King Kong is born! LOL

Re: King Kong
I saw a special on dateline a few nights ago and it got me pretty excited. Before that I didn't even care.
The most shocking thing to me about the show, though, was Jackson - he lost about 10,000 lbs and looks completely different. -

Re: King Kong
I think visually it looks amazing. Maybe the movie will be good too. I'll go see it over the Christmas break. I never cared for the classic King Kong tales, but I'll give this one a go for sure.

Re: King Kong
I was all over this movie even before the several great reviews it's gotten, but now I'm really all over it. Loved the original, love what Peter Jackson did with LOTR, love long movies, and love escapist adventure movies like the King Kong story. I might do the opening night thing for this one.Helen: Everyone's special, Dash.

I didn't expect much from this at all, pretty much another Godzilla-quality remake, but it is actually getting high marks which is pretty amazing for any movie with any giant animal.Comment

Re: King Kong
I will be seeing this in the theatres which generally means it's worth the money. I don't usually go to the theatres for movies and when i do it's usually a good flick. (the last "bad" movie I saw in the theatres was TMNT 2)
I saw an interview with a reviewer on CNBC about this movie and it sounds like it's going to break the mold from other monster movies. I'm actually interested in how KING KONG will act as he's supposed to be about 50 years old as opposed to the young ape that we see in the other versions.
Oh and I also love long movies so that's a plus.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment
