Princess Bride... Overlooked? Are you freakin serious? It is widely regarded as being one of the best 100 movies of all-time. There is nothing at all overlooked about it.

well, maybe by critics and those that follow movies closely, but literally out of the 20 people that I work with closely, only one other person had seen it besides myself. I since have loaned it to about 5 others and they have all enjoyed it. I just say when the general population hasnt heard of the movie, its overlooked at least to a degree. Take a poll of the people on here and see if theyve ever heard of it, much less seen it.

Given the general age group of OS, I would say probably no less than 80% has seen the movie.

"My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."

If you said that among a group of thirty year olds, at least half would know you're quoting The Princess Bride. It's up there with Ferris Bueller's Day Off and The Breakfast Club among the most-watched late 80's movies.

Wonderland, really good flick that doesn't get near as much run as it should.

Ed Wood - Martin Landau won an Oscar for his portrayal of Bela Lugosi but the movie was a failure at the box office. Johnny Depp was great and Bill Murray played a small but excellent role. My favorite Tim Burton film.

Speaking of Bill Murray... I think Quick Change gets overlooked as part of his canon.

I don't think you'll find this on dvd, but watch Hearts of Darkness, its a documentary of the making of Apocalypse Now. Its show all the problem that Francis Ford Coppola had to deal with while making the film.
Don't you EVER read my blog? It's gotten a lot better.
