I'm open minded enough but it just doesnt interest me. Kinda like miracle, that hockey movie.. I just dont like hockey very much. I just have enough respect for people in general to not lash out like that, in an uneducated way..

Yeah, I figure that most posters on this board wouldn't be interested in a nineteenth century romance, be it Cold Mountain or Brokeback Mountain or Gone With The Wind.

It would be terrible to live and be this closeminded.

              Well, I guess I'm close-minded....and I think I can still hold my head up...LOL!!

P.S. It might be a good movie....but I'll take everyone else's word for it.
Sorry for steppin' on some (painted) toes in here fellas. LOL.

O.k. I am far from closed minded, but the whole premise of this movie is puzzling. No two men are going to go to a cowboy roundup and then decide to try gay love because they are lonely. This doesn't happen in real life. Either you are curious and do this type of thing or you do not. This movie in no way interests me, because of it's underlying message..I am not into men loving each other this way. My mind is closed in regards to entertaining that idea.

Wouldn't that be implying that the movies are based in the 1800's? I thought Brokeback Mountain was about the present day. Or at least somewhat near that time, I swear I saw a big tractor in one of the previews... I didn't think they had that stuff back in the 1800's....

For some reason, I thought it was a period piece.

Being in Utah, there is exactly one theatre showing the Film ... so I haven't been able to see it yet.

I guess I'd better turn in my membership to the male species for watching "The Wedding Banquet" years ago, and actually finding it to be a compelling, interesting, and even funny movie....

I am interested in seeing that movie about the true Pocahontas. It may be a love story but at least there is some action. And I like Titantic.

You're making it sound like you dont want to see the movie strictly because it involves two males falling for eachother. When its a movie like any other. If it does'nt interest you, say it does'nt interest you. Saying that you wont watch it because of the male gay sex is very close minded.
