but from that comment it seems that he may go the other direction and give tony more power, more money or more of a sunny outlook than the way most ppl think he will go with it.
What if the show ends with the New Jersey Crew taking over New York due to Phil causing a feud between the 2 families?

Yeah, i think all this season has been leading up to a war between the two with Tony vs Phil. It could be a bloodbath.

I mentioned Feech a few pages back. He kind of had an ignomious send off after being hyped, so I wouldn't be surprised if he showed up in a cameo spot (much like Dr. Eliot Kupferberg...nothing important, just a way of saying "goodbye").

One of the many delicate touches of the Sopranos' writers, having Tony show mercy on Feech by setting him up to go to jail, rather than whacking him.

Gotcha.... Thanks for clearing that up.... I didn't watch the whole way through, so when I saw everyone getting pissed off, I thought he flipped, which would have been interesting to me, because I did see the scene with his lawyer that you referenced.

They've had their differences in the past, so it's very possible... I think it couldn't go very far because of Phil's position... Now with Phil pretty much running the NY show, it's obvious they are on a collision course. I think the writers have set it up cleverly, because we've seen snippets of Phil showing his disregard for Tony's leadership... First with his protection of Tony B., and then particularly with his handling of the Vito situation, when he told him that if Tony's father had been running the show, there'd be no discussion about what needed to be done... That pissed Tony off royally.

Yeah they simply don't like each other. I used to have a bunch of hamsters when I was younger. Sometimes I'd put one hamster in another hamsters cage and they'd know right away whether they could co-exist, shown by them just acting casual towards each other, or whether they were mortal enemies, which would mean mayhem would ensue which entailed alot of hamster fur flying. I think Tony and Phil are for all intents and purposes those hamsters where the fur is gonna fly.

Both are likable people. I'd hate to see Phil go. He's one of my favorite characters.

when are the Russians going to intervene? I am sure that storyline hit a halt..so would like Chase to finish what he started, after all I love the Russians as I'm one of them.

The "Pine Barrens" episode happened late in Season 3, originally airing over five years ago (5/6/2001). To pick up that storyline at this late date would seem as contrived as bringing the fine Adrianna back from the dead.

Adriana is dead, there's no point in visiting that part..but the Russians, the fact that it was abandoned doesn't sit right with me. You gotta finish what you started...

The Russian thing wasn't enough of a plot to bring it back now... If they didn't do it in the episodes right afterwards, it wouldn't make any sense to address it now.

Vito coming back? Now that's a dumb-arse move....

Wow... now that was a good episode. I was losing faith in the series but it just got a lot more interesting. Can't wait for the season finale in two weeks, although....
