Whether or not Tony was responsible, I think Hesh will still blame him. It seems like Tony is "losing" the people closest to him. Christopher, Paulie, Hesh, Vito (more losing his income).

I don't think so. A grieve stricken Hess could assume that the pressures caused by Tony brought on his girlfriend's stroke-and rightly so.

With my comments aside, its all about showing how deranged Tony has gotten and what else is in store for his future which doesn't sound seem too well.
When following the "gambling addict" storyline I keep remembering Robert Patrick's excellent performance as the owner of the sporting goods store who loses big at Tony's high stakes poker game, resulting in a $50K debt to the boss of New Jersey. Tony and Crew recoup the money many times over by picking him and his store apart, ruining his business and marriage. Patrick's last scene is at his son's graduation(Meadow was one of the graduates that day also), where he tells Tony about his new job as a ranch hand out West, how close it is to Vegas, and why don't they meet up there soon. I forget the exact wording of Tony's reply, but he dismissed the invitation and looked upon Patrick's character as a pitiful degenerate. How quickly Tony was afflicted with the same disease.

Maybe she wants the lifestyle that her boyfriend's family has, and if AJ's not gonna give it to her, she'll find someone else who will... I remember her saying her baby daddy was involved in some form of street life... You can't live high on the hog managing a couple of pizza restaurants. I bet AJ starts to look at his dad's life as a way of getting shortie back.
AJ just doesn't have the stuff to even entertain that type of life, especially given the previews of AJ sobbing in front of Tony and out in public.

Is there anywhere where I can see the preview for next week? TMN here in Canada pick up all the HBO shows but they don't show the next week's preview.

You got me. It appears AJ will be totally humiliated next episode, as he goes to the construction site where his ex girl works to grovel for some love, only to be laughed at by the workers as he cries like a little girl.

              Re: Sopranos Season 6

Last night episode seemed weird in a way. Tony is definetley losing his mind. I knew he liked to gamble, but blowing so much money and wanting to spend over 100,000 dollars on the Jets game. If you let a boss of the mafia borrow money don't keep reminding him of it. Perfect example is goodfells. The Jewish guy kept asking Denrio's character for the money he owned him and it led to a ice pick in the back of the head. The Italian Mafia usually only kill the people they have a problem with unlike the russians who will kill your whole family. So for Tony to kill the wife would be unusual, but the look he had on his face after he left the house made me think he killed her somehow. Tony better get his stuff right, b/c his crew is going to start thinking that Tony can run the family like he use to.

Strange movie, but the scene with her and Kerry Washington alone makes it worthwhile. VERY worthwhile.

My favorite part of this week's episode was when Buffalo beat Tampa Bay. Circle those wagons, baby!!

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to AJ's humiliation, but the previews also indicate the probable death of "Little Paulie", the nephew of Paulie Walnuts. No telling what events his death (if it happens) will set in motion.

                    LITTLE PAULIE 1959-2007?

7 minutes to go before this week's episode. Has any else noticed that Silvio appears to be enabling Tony's reckless gambling?

THis was a great episode. little paulie getting thrown out of a window and Big Paulie's lawn job was priceless. Christopher shooting his writer buddy was quick and unexpected. The previews look good to, I like how it says things are going to change. NY vs Nj will begin next week.

Excellent episode tonight and the next 4 episodes look to be exciting. I see AJ joining the family after what has happened with this episode after the NJ vs. NY war.

Paulie vs. Christoper is going to be something that I see possibly exploding even further. Christopher killing the writer was what I think he wanted to do to Paulie, but knowing that he could not do that, he killed someone else in Paulie's place.

                                Great episode.

I see when the final episode is near conclusion, that its going to be AJ and his crew standing.
