    Re: Sopranos Season 6

    Just a hunch...but...

I think AJ makes a successful second try at suicide...as many people actually do. They tend to get better for a bit, then come to peace with the decision they've made. he didn't seem "ready" the first time.

Meadow gets whacked in response to Phil's rage about his brother getting offed, and Tony's retribution on Coco, and past indiscretions. Phil is out of control and losing all perspective, and respects none of the cardinal rules (family if off limits, etc).

Tony takes out Phil and his cronies and goes down in a hail of bullets with Silvio and Paulie. Only Carmella is left...alone...and broken.

Far-fetched...but as good as any other guess...

Obiwan, what's up man. I don't think that Phil is scared of Tony at all, the character of Phil is not that of a weak man. He is crazy and has problems, but he is not weak. I think the scene of Phil in the "tower" (His home) was symbolic of the forboding force of evil that you know is present but not seen. It was Phils way of disrespecting Tony by not giving him a face to face, and to also say the next time I see you one of us will be dead.

Maybe a little far fetched, but unfortunately, I could see that all happening. I'll be pissed if they hurt Meadow. That's my girl.

Here's my finale prediction. It's out there but we'll see.

Carmela finds out about Christopher and Adriana. She confronts Tony about it and he won't admit to it. Then she rats out Tony and the rest of his guys. By the way, I don't think AJ is gonna kill himself.

I read an article in the New York Post with Steve Van Zandt. One of the questions the interviewer asked him was if he thinks they will make a movie. His answer was, if they're going to make a movie it'll need to be a prequel because there ain't gonna be much left. Maybe he's bull****ting to get more people to watch or maybe not. That interview and the trailer confirmed my belief that Silvio is gonna be whacked.

I can see what you're saying, I just see it different. I've always thought of Phil as weak and hiding behind his position. He's never really done anything, just had others do his dirty work.

He can't stand up to Tony, because he has nothing outside of his enforcers. I do believe he was a little intimidated by Tony walking into his restaurant and totally messing up one of his guys.

no way Carm dimes out Tony... The mob life has been too good to her, she hasn't had to lift a finger to do anything... Even that little spec house she blathered on and on about, it took Tony's influence to get that thing moving.

Obi, that's how I feel about Phil.

If it comes down to one on one...Tony vs. Phil, Phil has no chance of making it out of a fight. Tony would kick Phil's *** so bad that death would be on Tony's mind as he is beating the living lights out of Phil.

Phil has always had his guys do the work for him. Yes, that was a sign of disrespect that he never met with Tony one on one, but also a sign of him being weak hiding like that.

Johnny Sack was more intimidating than Phil, I think that I would be more scared of Johnny than Phil.

What do you guys think about the feds and Tony's involvement with telling them about the Arab guys? There has to be something to that as well.

It was explained in an earlier episode, jk. Any info Tony gives that leads to arrests will come into play in sentencing..

..if, y'know, Tony is finally convicted..

I read the Van Zandt piece and it might be nothing more than bullsh!t because he references the last three episodes in making his case for a prequel or nothing. Now who died in this episode?

After watching the teaser in slo-mo a few times, I'm pretty sure it's Bobby that gets whacked (or an attempt) in retribution for Coco/Fat Dom. It also looked like Silvio said somone was "playing both sides of the fence"...which was pretty ominous as well. Paulie maybe? Or maybe they discover it was Bobby, and its Tony who puts the hit out? Janice is that type of broad..I could see her setting that up.

Who knows...whatever hapens its gonna be huge. They do a great job editing those clips.

Also, count me into the 'sick of AJ' camp. His spoiled rich kid whining has gotten REALLY old quickly...although I admit I was at the edge of the sofa screaming for Tony to look up in the kitchen while the kid was drowning...

I think Tony and Little Carmine are going to make an agreement to whack Phil to prevent open war, but LC is going to double cross him and take over the Jersey operations. Helping install Carmine as the NY boss is really Tony's only play. He's outgunned. LC is a puss, but such a funny character. "Tony...you are at the precipice of a great crossroads my friend."

                              I hate Melphi's shrink.

Oh...Melphi's shrink is like that kid in grade school that wasn't a troublemaker, but for some reason kept getting on your nerves...like it was a daily hobby. And he would be so nonchalant about it. And you wondered why this idiot picked on you as his "hobby". And as soon as you saw him, you wanted to literally kill him.
