Something needs to happen to Vito soon, I like the storyline but it's been dragged on for way too long.

I think we have 3 episodes left correct?

There are 3 episodes left. For some reason, I get the feeling that Chris has been working with the feds. That last episode, it seemed like that's what he wanted to tell Tony. But then again it is probably all "smoke in mirrors", which The Sopranos is notorious for.

I think the this season has been pretty good. At times I get sucked into the "I want more action" thinking, but the dialog between characters this season has been top notch. As EWRMETS said, everything seems to be crumbling down. It looks like Pauly is sick, and with everything else we have seen it doesn't look good for the guys. I will be interested to see how it ends this year.

I think the best scene this year so far is Tony picking up A.J. at the police station. There were so many emotions and things going on in that scene. A.J. and his misconception about 'mob life", his obvious need for respect and validation from Tony and others, his desire for revenge of what was done to his dad, then Tony being disappointed, upset, angry and yet strangely proud of what A.J was going to do all at once. Also the entire aspect of Tony saying A.J. wasn't cut out for mob life which was, to A.J. all at once an insult and a compliment. Very complex scene there for all of that to occur in about 1 minute of screen time.

I've thought for a long time that AJ would be eventually given the Crazy Horse to run.

I bet that Tony's crew falls apart by the end of the final 8 episodes next year due to illness, corruption, and inner-fighting. It will be that dummy AJ that brings it back from the ashes.

I think the whole Tony/AJ thing is based alot on John Gotti and his son. From what I've read John Gotti was a mob genius and his son was pretty stupid, he never wanted his son to run things but his son did ending up running them. From what I understand his son is in prison or going to prison and he's simply not very bright so things aren't really run too well

Would be interesting if they took that angle.

As Tony said, it's not in AJ's nature. I believe that AJ will eventually run the mob about as much as I believe that Adrianna is alive. AJ is your typical immature suburban 19 year old living with his parents. He couldn't survive in a mob world.

Effin HBO crapped the bed right until The Sopranos was over. I only got to see bits and pieces of it. Stupid digital cable.

with the final 2 episodes comeing up, im curious as to what will close up and what will blow up as far as storylines go. I thought we'd see a key player get whacked before the break, ie junior, paulie, chris, etc but that doesnt appear to be happening. vito will be gone, and i beleive meadow and finn will break up, but beyond that i dont see much else happening unless there are 2 crazy episodes happening. i imagine we will start next year with paulie in the hospital, chris in rehab again, chris' wife haveing a baby or dieing in childbirth, AJ back in collge or in the mob, anyone else have any ideas?

Good episode, tonight. I'm surprised Vito returned to Jersey. Tony wasn't particularly interested in finding him, so he could of survived if he stayed gone. From the previews, it looks this situation may start a NY vs NJ war. With Phil being boss, that could get ugly.

Vito can't survive in the "real world" having to work a 9 to 5. That guy he rear-ended got what he deserved...lol. Dude wanted to call the police....lol. Tony just cracks me up. The scene where meadow was crying over finn was hilarious. The last scene with Janice was pretty funny too.

Exactly... I remember the scenes where Finn was working at the construction site, all those dudes were sitting on their butts talking baseball... Then Vito has to actually work, and he can't cut it, even though he thought he could hang... Vito as a fireman? I was on the floor when he said that.
