    Re: Sopranos Season 6

Now I'm thinking it ends up getting worse for Soprano and his boys next week. We already had the "happy ending" to the series at the half way point of this season (the Christmas dinner). So now we get the tragic ending. Since the Christmas dinner the Soprano family has been getting slowly eliminated. It follows that they are finished in the finale.

If they wanted to pick up the show again, they could start from right after the Christams dinner with most of the characters are still intact and say the second half of this season was just one of two alternate endings. Or you could always have a prequel.

Phil is in the final episode, so I doubt the whole Soprano crew is getting eliminated. Tony will take down Phil before everything is said and done.

No chance that The Sopranos is coming back at any time. Maybe a movie, but not a series.

Gotta feeling they were only in it to give the fed some reason to connect with Tony. Otherwise, would he have told Tony about the hit on him?

Somehow, I think Carmine will be involved in whacking Phil. He seems to want to turn his back on the mob scene altogether, but can't. With the two head guys dead, he might be able to do that and stay in Miami for good. I just hope that little pug-dog looking sidekick of Phil's gets whacked.

To quote Pinky from Friday After Next,Tony should have busted a cap in his fat *** when he was beating the hell out of Coco.

I think Carmine is done with all this and not even he will want to come in here to try to negotiate things... or make a move.

Especially when he murdered that old lady (Cookie?) in the same episode and gave Tony some if not most of the money.

"The Blue Comet" was a terrific episode and Sunday will be a great day no matter what. Sad as well since it's the last.
It's not even remotely possible that Paulie turns on Tony.

I was watching some talk show the other day (can't remember which one it was) and Edie Falco said they shot 3 different endings and no one knew for sure which they were using. It could have been BS, but I don't know.

I could see them doing this just to make sure no one leaks the ending. It'll be good to see the other two they didn't use on the DVD if this is true.

My wife grew up in the part of Jersey that most of this show is filmed in. A friend of hers called her several weeks ago to tell her about a possible final scene that was filmed in a downtown area of a small NJ town. So...if this ending doesn't happen, we'll know that the 3+ different endings rumor is true.

i agree. the feds dont want Tony killed because he could be valuable later on in their investigation of the two possible terrorists. Giving Harris that information might have saved Tony's life.

plus the fact that Agent Harris probably has a stronger dislike for Phil and the Brooklyn guys anyway (because of what happened in a previous season)

Somehow, I think Carmine will be involved in whacking Phil. He seems to want to turn his back on the mob scene altogether, but can't. With the two head guys dead, he might be able to do that and stay in Miami for good.
i agree that Carmine will have a role in bringing down Phil.

I just think that Carmine wants Phil gone because maybe he cant make as much money with Phil as boss. Carmine wants everything peaceful. Wars are bad for business. He wants everyone to do business together. Phil, on the other hand, probably cares more about the old school mob "code" than he cares about doing business.

I just hope that little pug-dog looking sidekick of Phil's gets whacked.
oh man. me too. i will cheer WHEN that happens. Butchie has to go

A little bit of Soprano trivia that most of you already probably knew. Steve Schirripa (Bobby) wore a fat suit in his early days in the role to make him look much more obese.
