When we played in HS guys were getting jacked up right and left. But then again we had guys that could throw a hardball in the 90's. So they made it a dangerous game. I got rocked in the face, by a guy that went on to play for the cleveland Idians. lmao so I am probably bias lol.

Who was it that went on to play for the Giants that hit you? Thats pretty cool, if I got pegged in dodge ball by a guy who went on to play pro sports thats somethin I'd have to tell my kids and grandkids aboutFavorite Teams:

I went to school with Chris Singleton, Aron Taylor, domarco farr in Jr High and dodgeball with them was a full on war. Chris and I almost got into a hugh fight lol. I only see farr now, the others only if I run into them. We all played pee wee football together.Comment

This generation is a bunch of pansies. I have some relatives that are in high school and are the biggest damn spoiled wusses I have ever seen. If they don't get their way they cry and whine like little school girls. If I ever did that my dad would give me a nice backhand. After the first time, I never whined again. I definitely would love to thank my dad because it made me tough and as a result was able to defend myself. It's amazing how sensitive the world is today. WOW, I am so glad I work in a school in a small, rural area that is still allowed to do those "old fashioned" things. (say the "Pledge", play tag, dodgeball, put up "Merry Christmas" in the hallways)
This is crazy! lolXbox 360 NCAA 12Comment

I blame T.O.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Tag you're it!
There was another line in that story where they said that the kids can play with a football on the playground...BUT they can't run with it....I don't know that that means.
I remember when I was a kid we used to play this game called "Smear the Q****" ...the name isn't politically correct anymore so I won't offend anyone. Anyway, you had about 20 guys...one football. And the object was to get the football, by any means neccessary, and then the other 20 guys would try to basically whup your a$$. The thing is, you WANTED the football. It was bragging rights to run aroung the playground jukeing and dodgeing would be tacklers, even is for only a full minute. Then 3 guys would tackle you and one of them would get the ball from you, and then you would try to kick the snot out of them.
We always came in from recess a mess. But...boys will be boys. And this was at a Catholic school....good times...PSN: JISTIC_OS
