If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

I knew that had to be fishy, after Phonte and Pooh were talking about how there may not be any Little Brother (Tay and Poobie) albums anymore.SAN ANTONIO SPURSComment

Re: fans of underground rap?
Very hot production!!! I saw the nasty lineup, and I saw that Presto also produced "Move On" from Kenn Starr's The Starr Report... my favorite song from the mixtape... So I had to get it...
It has an '94 Old-School flavor to it... like Pete Rock & INI type ish... jazzy, with a lot of piano use... but the rap is obviously updated to sound like Now... and it's all very good. Barely any bad tracks on this one.
P.S.... JMood, the song with Blu is really really goodSAN ANTONIO SPURSComment

Downloading now.
You weren't lying about the beats, they sound just like some Pete Rock and CL Smooth type stuff.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.

Re: fans of underground rap?
I think I posted this already, but here is the album cover too.

Phonte Says 80's EP Will Only Have 2,500 Copies Pressed
The Zo! and Tigallo Love the 80's EP will be available in early July as a limited edition CD. Only 2,500 copies will be pressed, all individually numbered.
Says Phontigallo...
"We had fun recording the record, but its not a 'joke' album at all...We were very serious with everything, from the vocal side, to the production side, to the final mixing and mastering...it was a real painstaking process to recreate it all. [The album includes covers of ] 'Take On Me' by A-Ha, 'Africa' by Toto, and a new revamped version of 'Steppin' Out' by Joe Jackson...and that's all I'mma say...we will be leaking the next joint in a week or so though, probably on a future episode of my podcast, Gordon Gartrell Radio www.gordongartrellradio.com"
"No iTunes, Amazon, or other any digital spots will have it; once we sell out, its gone forever."

Re: fans of underground rap?
Was this canadian group "Classified" ever popular in any way? Cause just like atmosphere I hear their stuff and I am thinking how the hell is this not popular. Its so friggin good.
Theres a song called "Put it in perspective" you guys need to check out. Amazing all the way around(lyrics, beat, flow).
Also theres a songs "All about You" and "No Mistakes" that are more laid back songs which should be drinking anthems."Good music transcends all physical limits, it's more then something you hear, it's something that you feel, when the author, experience, and passion is real" - Murs (And this is for)Comment

Re: fans of underground rap?
Hey Dookie... here are the albums and mixtapes I believe are worth checking out since about two months ago (if you need some before this let me know)...
"The Formula" - Buckshot & 9th Wonder
"Freedom" - Everliven Sound
"Cali Untouchable Radio 17" - Strong Arm Steady
"Block 2the Basement" - Kaze
"Corner of Spec & 9th" - Spectac & 9th Wonder
"The In Crowd" - Kidz in the Hall
"Euro Pass" - Elzhi
"A Change Gon' Come" - Rashid Hadee
"Jeanius" - Jean Grae & 9th Wonder
"A Mixtape About Nothing" - Wale
"...And Justus For All" - Little Brother
"The IV Edition" - Braille
"Each Dawn I Die" - Little Vic
"The ****** Tape" - NaS
"A Captured Moment in Time" - DL Incognito
"The Confessional" - Bishop Lamont
"The Bridge EP" - Tanya Morgan
"State of the Art" - Presto
If I had to say start anywhere... start with "A Mixtape About Nothing" by Wale... you WILL NOT be disappointed with it. The subject matter is broad so it doesn't get redundant, and it's fun as hell to listen to him. Not to mention, everyone around will like it too... Wale can bring underground heads and mainstream listeners together.
Immortal Technique's new album "3rd World" is pretty shoddy but this song is dope as hell... "Reverse Pimpology" ft. MojoLast edited by X*Cell; 06-23-2008, 06:38 PM.SAN ANTONIO SPURSComment
