Has anyone heard Bishop Lamont's "The Confessional"?

I loved his collab with Black Milk "Caltroit" so I was most definitely gonna check this out, and it's GREAT!!! I like his flow and most especially what he raps about. Very fun and exciting stuff to listen to. He has quite the star-studded lineup here and the intro to the album is hilarious. It's about time that I can hear some truly enjoyable gangsta L.A. rap that really hasn't been touched since the old days of Snoop, Dre, NWA, WC, etc etc... Most like-able LA rap these days is the Beat-boy ****, and I'm kind of getting a little tired of it.

The official cover is right here...

but my favorite version is here...

It's old, but I don't have a problem hearing it again. Rakim and KRS-One killed it.

A little off topic but no too much of a stretch

What are some collabo's that you would love to see?

                          Mine are:

Legacy & RJD2- I thought he came off real nice on LB's -"The best kept secret". He definately could wyle out to RJD2s beats.

Royce & Supastition- 2 heavy spitters could definately murder some beats, especially if they tried to 1up each other.

                          Yours?

Phonte & Paul Wall (this isn't a joke)

I would love for Paul Wall to go first and then for Phonte to just completely annihilate him lyrically and prove which southern cat takes the cake...

D-Brock and Jay-Z... if Jigga wants a super-tight hook with drop dead amazing vocals... D-Brock is his dude... Darien killed it with Chaundon, and I see Chaundon and Jigga in the very same light.

Von Pea (Tanya Morgan) and Big Twin (Infamous Mobb)... 2 unique sounding rappers with COMPLETELY different pitches, that both sound hot and are from the city.

Wale & 9th Wonder ... my current favorite artist (it's like my flava of the month) right now is Wale so I would love to hear him get busy over my all-time favorite producer.

Edan rapping over a Prefuse 73 beat. Both of them have very visual styles and it would most def. be interesting.

Mos Def featuring Roy Ayers. Kinda like Talib Kweli's song "In The Mood" with Kanye West.
