You read way too far into that going to WB thing man... wayyy too far. His album with the exception of "Lookin' Fly" (which is a tight song), has that Murs feel to it... lyrically and instrumentally. I honestly don't know what you're hearing at all, because I'm not hearing a mainstream out of the box album... I'm hearing Murs build off dope connections and roots and use his experienced knowledge of the rap game to do something hot, and still rap with prophecy.

Re: fans of underground rap?
I personally love Sean Price MUCH better than Rock, so Heltah Skeltah has never been one of my favorites, but it gives me some decent material... can't turn away from that.SAN ANTONIO SPURSComment

Re: fans of underground rap?
I don't know why so many people don't like the Murs album that much, it's pretty good to me.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: fans of underground rap?
My third favorite producer of all time, the Large Professor, has dropped a new album titled Main Source, and it's bangin'! That name should be very familiar to long-time fans and followers of the Extra P, as it is the name of the group he started off with before going solo. (Remember the classic Breaking Atoms?)
This is not to be confused with the two instrumental joints he dropped in '06 and '07 -- Beatz, Vols. 1 & 2... even though I think these albums are worth owning as well.

Re: fans of underground rap?
BTW I'm behind on 08's underground scene. Any must haves so far? I got Elzhi's 2, 1 of Torae's, Murs Sweet Lord and MFP(soon), and prob. like eMC a couple early ones. Are there any besides those that I really need? My Zune is pretty empty of new stuffEagles, 76ers, Phillies, Arsenal FC, Wildcats, Vols
