Dude's got potential, but if I wanted to hear another rapper whine about hustling bitches and laying flows over played out mainstream rap beats then I'd just turn on the radio. Sorry to say but your boy sounds nothing like Hiero or Souls.

Curious if anybody knows if Jurassic 5 is planning on another album or not. I know they're not exactly underground either, but I really like their music and they were the first hip hop act I got to see live. Additionally, I played the sh*t out of the power in numbers and quality cds, and as good as those 2 are, it's always refreshing to hear new material. Anyway, if anybody knows anything, let me know. Thanks.

good question, and I would say no, except can he really be called mainstream? I mean, even people who are huge KanYe fans still don't know who Kweli is. I know he's had a few videos in rotation, and he did the commercial for the Big Ten, but I don't think people know who he is. They've probably heard the name but wouldn't recognize the face.

Anyway, I don't really know how to label him, which I think is a good thing. Plus, I don't really care what he is, as long he keeps producing good records.
