You and other mods act like babies by targetting me to try to make me explode. I'm not stupid, I know how to handle this by now. If my name is called out, regardless if I have even posted in a thread or not (you called me out before I even posted in here...took a shot at me), I just don't say anything.

well, lots of people have mentioned Murs and Atmosphere, and Murs + Slug (of Atmosphere) = Felt.

and yeah, I also enjoyed that album.

good question, and I would say no, except can he really be called mainstream? I mean, even people who are huge KanYe fans still don't know who Kweli is. I know he's had a few videos in rotation, and he did the commercial for the Big Ten, but I don't think people know who he is. They've probably heard the name but wouldn't recognize the face.

Anyway, I don't really know how to label him, which I think is a good thing. Plus, I don't really care what he is, as long he keeps producing good records.

Agreed. He's one of the best lyricists in the game.

He's fallen off in my eyes. He hasnt been as consistent since his Reflection Eternal/Train of Thought release.

He aint fallen off i mean "Right Now" wasnt as good as "Reflection Eternal" cuz dat was a classic so its hard to improve on that but he stil is one of the top dawgs.

Yeah, can we please stop comparing everything Kweli does to Reflection Eternal? I mean that was a classic and to expect greatness out of Kweli on every track is not realistic.

Also, I had no idea Felt existed even though I've listened to Atmosphere for the past 3 years, and when I heard Felt 2 (my first Felt experience), I was blown away. Truly good stuff, it's heavy in my rotation.

i freakin hate doom ...good producer , bad emcee..... hes too strange and his flow and voice are beyond garbage.

i do like

doomsday and siliva though and a couple of other joints from him , but overrall hes meh.

Doom is one of the most overrated mc's ever. He's a good producer but he needs to leave the mic alone, him and his 59 other personalities.

I was never a huge fan of Doom... I would go as far to say, he was on my "Never Listen to-List" along with Eminem, 50 Cent, and G-Unit... I never liked Doom, but I'm starting to like him a little more as time passes...

Why does everyone hate Doom so much?

Reasons why I like Doom...

-He throws away what a rap song SHOULD sound like and he expands the boundaries of the genre
-He's a very good storyteller
-Very creative
-Nothing he does sounds forced

I'm not blown away by his beats, and to me, thats the most overrated part about him. All he does is take a classic song, loop it, and throw some drums on there.

Mmm..Food is a great album, along with Vaudeville Villain (Viktor Vaughn) and the Madvillainy CD is just a CLASSIC.

Plus, it's hard to say he's overrated when the majority of the people here don't like him. Either people REALLY like him or REALLLLLLLY hate him.
