"A Long Hot Summer" is a classic... I'm convinced that 1994 is the year of hip-hop... but 2005 was the year that Underground rap music hit its peak.

I've actually had that album for years but I haven't listened to it.

we've already covered this topic many times... it's definetely a taste thing. I'm not a stickler for racism in rap because a lot of it is just for show, but I don't particularly like songs by Dead Prez anyways, whether I believe in their lyrics or not.

                      Artist: Median
                      Album: Relief in the Making
Producers: Ant B; Khrysis; Marshall Law; Nicolay; Von Pea; 9th Wonder & More

It puzzles me how an artist could possibly push songs he made in 2002 that were already on an album of his, on a 2007 mixtape just to "fill-er-up"! Despite Median's poor decisions, his new ish is brilliant. The songs making the transfer to the full-length album from the mixtape are fire, such as "How Big is Your World" produced by Mr. Dream Merchant, 9th Wonder himself. Khrysis also strikes gold with "Rize" ft. Ladehra.

"Golden Ticket" is definitely my favorite song to show people because it gets a pretty positive outlook by everyone whether they are into northeast soul or dirty south mainstream. Von Pea does the beat and Tanya Morgan the group is present in that song. Median's "Relief" is going to pretty tight... I'm calling it now.
