That is an amazing picture... amazing... they never fail to be the best to me... They are undisputed in my book... 2/3 studio albums or not... they are tight.

Saigon destroys his verse in "Saved" by 9th Wonder... Joe Scudda's is very impressive as well... that song is SO LOVELY... got it on repeat.

I posted it on the last page Nivek. I haven't been able to find the album yet, doubt it's leaked.

New song off of Dream Merchant 2

I just realized I have 185 tracks by 9th Wonder on my itunes for a total listening time of 11 hours, 51 minutes, and 18 seconds. Basically, 9.6% of my library is 9th Wonder songs.

Dream Merchant is pretty sick, I've only listened once though so I'll have to go through it again.

Even if you reduce New York City to the one burrough of Brooklyn... New York, New York would win City of the Year most likely this season. The wait couldn't have been longer but 9th Wonder is finally out with The Dream Merchant 2 and Brooklyn shines because of it. 9th has a underdog cast that wins the crowd. He also includes fellow Brooklyn natives Skyzoo, Sean Price, and Buckshot who are all having incredible success in 2007.

It's a style that has to be liked from the get-go. If you don't find yourself feeling 9th, you aren't going to feel this cd. It will remain tight in your mind but you won't go back to listen. I am a 9th freak. I love this album simply for it's amazing production. It's new and refreshing beats from the same ol' 9th Wonder and much hasn't changed. He still comes equipped with the same drum patterns, 4:00 track-loops, choppin' and screwin' with some classics with mic killing from Jean Grae.

Some gems are dropped on this album for real. There are a few duds that might drop the grade a tad, but overall if you like 9th Wonder, you will play this album a great deal. 9th seemed to be a ghost for most of the year after producing a few tracks for Sean Price like "Violent". He only recently came back into the spotlight with a few mixtape trackbangers and a whole instrumental gem in the "Leaky Beat Vault" which I will be reviewing shortly. 9th Wonder is most definitely the merchant of dreams.

I know I'm late to the party but Rick Rock actually produced it. Rick Rock is from the Bay Area and mostly produces hyphy music so that's why it sounds the way it does.

Lyrically, it sounds like the same Murs. But the production is what makes him sound completely different. Murs and Rick Rock just aren't a very good mix. Totally different styles.

I've heard Rick do more than the "hyphy" music though...for some reason, that's the direction they went.
