BTW, I know you could sneak in a review of Smith and Wessun, "The Album". I cop'd it yesterday with the LB's jawnt off hiphopsite.com.

For once I agree with jmood.

He's already worked with Brody, Alchemist and Nottz through the years. You can have all the names you want but if you're picking the worst from the beats they give you, it doesn't matter. That's what he does...worst Al beat, worst Neptunes beat, worst Nottz beat, etc.

Different ears for different people...I thought the beats for Death is Certain were better than average, but Independence Day...horrible! I agree with you 100%, he needs someone to pick his beats and create a mood (no pun). Indep. Day was all over the place! Get a Premier or someone to Exec. Produce. to pick beats or something.

Anyone know anything about Big TReaL or what he's working on? I can't stop listening to his ish... he's one of my fave rookies.

I actually prefer alot of the Khrysis beats on the LB cds...i just wish Khrysis wouldnt waste his beats on Sean Boog....can only listen to so much talk about Liks despite tight beats

I'm a lil excited to hear the new Kaze....i really liked the beats on his last album besides it being so damn short, especially the Dojo joint

The beats on Death Is Certain that weren't bad were really good, I just wished that he had more of them.

I have to agree with the "Royce picks bad beats" camp here. I own every single one of Royce's albums, and every album usually only has 1-3 really listenable songs. If Royce had better taste in picking beats, he'd be legendary. Look at his remix of "Feelin It," it's better than Jay-Z's version!

I like those Little Brother shirts y'all had made.

How was the show? Well i know they rocked it. Did they do a lot of songs from Getback and or did they mix it up with older stuff as well?
