Exile's "Radio" album has finally come out. He sampled everything that played on the radio for a day and made songs out of the samples. I haven't listened to it yet but I've been looking forward to this for awhile and I'm sure it will be great.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

I was downloading it as I wrote that. But yeah, it lives up to my expectations.

No way it lives up to the first but this is at the top of my list for anticipated albums this year. If it's half as good as the first I'll be satisfied, I still listen to the original all the time.

                    Albums I'm looking forward to...

                    in January:

I loved Mr. J. Medeiros' album in 2007, so I'm expecting big things here. I haven't seen much individual work from Cy Young. I liked his joints with Kev Brown, so hopefully this tides me over.

                    in February:

Harmonic 313 has Elzhi featured on a track with Phat Kat. 'Nuff Said. Cesar Commanche is in cahoots with the Justus League. You'll be seeing plenty of 9th & Khrysis on his new album.

                    in March:

Both works here are short, but are highly-anticipated. Brother Ali's first album since "The Undisputed Truth" is called "The Truth is Here". Can't Wait! It's also been a while since Pigeon John has put anything out. Finally, the 2006 Album of the Year winner puts out an EP under his group alias 'Rootbeer' with Flynn Adam.

This came out in 2005(but I thought it was new when I downloaded it) but it's a great album that seems to have been overlooked by everyone. I've been listening to this all day.

Mr.J's album is my most anticipated right now. Of God's and Girl's is still one of favorite albums ever and he's a really cool guy.

This album is absolutely sick! It came out on the last day of 2008. I guess these guys have opened up for LB and Tribe and whatnot... cop it! Best song is "Turn Me On".
