Originally posted by cooldudeWhile the mags are all over their nuts, yes. They are also a good band(one of the best to come out of England in a long time, IMO), But you most also remember that they only have one album out right now, so let's wait a while before juding one way or the other.

As of 11 months ago The Eagles were at 28 Million, Thriller at 26.
The 11 Million Club is disgusting, save Sgt. Peppers and James Taylor. That must be the peak for absolutely terrible albumsComment

Re: Greatest American Band of All-Time
No matter how many times I read it, I still can't believe "Cracked Rear View" and "Jagged Little Pill" sold 16 million ****ing records.

ANyway, although Pearl Jam is my personal favorite band ever, I'd have to say the Ramones, and I think PJ would agree with me.
Damn, why does the U.K. have it over on us so bad?Comment

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, hands down IMO. Too bad not many people share that opinion with me.
EDIT: Now that I go back and read the posts, I see I'm not alone thanks to pk.Last edited by aukevin; 04-21-2006, 11:40 AM.

The Dead, hands down for me
Eagles are up there, Im not a bruce springsteen fan, but they have their spot in the list I usppose. GNR is perhaps my favorite all time band for that genre. A couple of names that no one has said yet, but I think are great bands are Black Crowes, Aerosmith and KISS."Basketball may have been born in Massachusetts, but it grew up in Indiana." - James NaismithComment

GNR
BTW, I just got six tickets to GNR's May concert here in NYC. Slash and Duff are rumored to be reuniting with Axl.Comment
