No, teams in my hometown aren't good enough to waste time rooting against.

Yes. Every hometown team except the NJ Devils. All my fav teams are rivals of teams around this area. Ofcourse most of my hatred to hometown teams goes to the Yankees. I hate that team.

If you mean like....literally from my hometown, then yes. Girls Lax, and field hockey. Started off as a joke with the two twins who play both and have waaaay too much of an ego, but now they have officially made me want to see those teams do bad.

If you mean Pro....then no. I however, would root against BC if they ever played Texas, and I don't really care about the Bruins.

Well.. maybe if I'm looking to make a spread or something. Other than minor league baseball, a ECHL hockey team and UNLV there isn't much to root for here.

I hate the Redwings and all University of Michigan sports. In Madden and NBA games I will trade away all players that went to Michigan before I start a season/franchise.

I'll root against the U. of Cincinnati basketball team whenever they play Xavier since I'm a big XU fan. Other than that, I don't root against hometown teams. I did root against the Bengals for a few years in the late 90's B.M. (Before Marvin). I loved the players, and wanted them to do well, but I wanted the team to lose every game to cause such embarassment to ownership that they would be forced to make radical changes. And it pretty much worked! LOL

I hate the Lakers, not sure if that's a hometown team though, since I live about an hour or two away from LA.

I have the Wichita Wranglers baseball, Wichita Thunder hockey, and a poor Arena Football League team the Aviators. I dont really root for or against them.

I root against the Patriots because pretty much everyone in New England are huge Patriots homers now, even though none could name more than 2 players from their '96 super bowl team.

Well, I'm a fan of out-of-town teams (except the Philadelphia Flyers). So if the Reds are playing the Phillies, Hornets playing the Sixers, or Bills are playing the Eagles, then I'll root against the hometown team. If they aren't, I'll cheer for the hometown team but I won't hop on the bandwagon. Just pull for 'em.
