I hate the 49ers and Raiders. The Niners I hate because they thrashed my Dolphins in the Super Bowl in '84 and because everyone in my family loves them. The Raiders I mostly hate because of all the low life Raiders fans there are around here. The whole "Raiders are so tough, and I want everyone to think I am Billy Badarse too, so I will walk around sporting Raiders gear" is so played out. It seriously seems sometimes that the Raiders were created so that white trash would have a team to root for.

I have also never liked the SF Giants in baseball. The A's are the one local Bay Area team I do love, though. Go figure.

If you want to hear some deep-rooted hate....every year for my NCAA football copy I edit every Colorado Buffalo player down the minimum. I love seeing colorado get blown out by 100 every game.

I actually did the opposite in Madden 2001....edited every Pats player up to a 99...played my Dad one game and he was like "wtf....why can't I do anything?!?" I was just sitting there beating him with my perfect Patriots.

I used the Wolverines in a dynasty, except I played as all of their opponents so that their rating would get killed, I did it until I got fired.

I also played a season on NHL 96 on the PC and used the Red Wings but played as their opponents every game.

Never been able to bring myself to root for a local team in any professional sport. Ergo I root against the Redskins (NFL), Wizards (NBA), and Capitals (NHL). With regard to the MLB, the Nationals are sort of an exception to my rule I guess, but I'm not too interested in baseball and I don't really care about the Orioles either.

i root for every single arizona team, college to pro's. it sucks cuz i only know a few people in phoenix who are in the same boat as me.

I used to root against the Bears late in the season during one of their many 4 win seasons. But that was to improve draft position.....which of course they would WIN some meaningless game and drop from the 2 slot down to like 7! Just to spite me!

But that doesn't count. I of course root against the White Sox, but if I didn't have two teams here I would prolly root for them. I also root against the Blackhawks, just cuz I dispise the ownership.

I root against the Cubs. Although I despise the Blackhawks ownership as well, I can't root against them. I also root against the psuedo-hometown team, the University of Illinois Fighting Illini. Mostly because I didn't go there, but also because of the intense BBall games they've had against my school(University of Arizona), and all the trash talking I've had with all my HS friends who went there.

I root against all Chicago teams except the Cubs.

I usually pull for in-state colleges though as long as it doesnt affect Michigan.

I root against the St. Louis Rams, of the other STL teams I'm a Cardinals fan and I like the Blues but I just don't like the Rams, just haven't ever liked them, always been a Browns fan, but maybe it has part to do with the fact that I was a Browns fan years before the Rams moved to STL, had they been a local team all those years things would've possibly been different, or atleast I might like them a little. Plus I'm not a big fan of their fanbase, where were all these fans at before Kurt Warner came to town? Although most of the fairweather fans seem to be jumping off the bandwagon again.

Yes the Panthers, and formally the Hornets. Two different reasons though. The Hornets I couldn't stand, because of that leach that is George Shinn. Always knew he was a bad person, and really didn't want to give him my money. As for the Panthers....well the fans make it easy for me to root against them. They are nowhere to be found during a 1-15 year, but a 96 NFC Title game run, a 2004 SB Run, and a NFC Title game run last year..........you couldn't walk 5 feet without seeing one. Yet they were the same people that were grumbling about how they sucked a few months before....when the Panthers were struggling to make the playoffs. FOR SHAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course since I'm a Duke fan...I root against NC State *Farmer U*, UNC *Kurlina*, and Wake Forest *Dirty Decs*.

I root against the Cubs BUT only if they are playing the White Sox.

I do root against the Blackhawks because they are a shame on Chicago Sports.

I have, and always will root against the Buffalo Bills.Always disliked the team since I can remember.

I just never liked them, alot has to do with coaches they have had and terrible general managers.I almost warmed up to them when Polian was gm, but what does Ralph do , he fires him.

He didn't help his case by hiring Levy as a GM.

Im a Panthers fan, and probably guilty of being fair weather. Professional sports to me aren't that entertaining but over the past couple years I have grown to love this Panthers team. To me, its all about the players and so now I'm hooked. Honestly if a professional team sucks really bad, I just won't care about them.

I grew up in Winston-Salem, and HATED Wake Forest. Couldn't stand Wake fans at all, and the whole atmosphere of Wake being the hometown team made me want to throw up.

When I was 1 year old...I was sitting with my dad watching a Duke game, and was hooked from then on. I'm not only a fan, but a booster.
