Re: Neil Young - Living With War

[QUOTE=BGarrett7]So, you enjoy American Idiot dispite the fact you think Green Day's recording of it was "weak"? I would also be willing to wager that Neil Young has a much better grasp of what is going on in this country than someone like Billie Joe Armstrong.

Billie might not be the brightest person, but he knows a lot more then you think lol.

I'm not doubting how much he may or may not know. What I am doubting is whether or not he knows more than Neil Young.

More ignorant statements by the uninformed. Keep eating the garbage they are feeding you.

In my opinion (get it....my opinion) it is borderline treasonous to call for a President's impeachment and call him a liar (which in and of itself is an out and out lie) during a time of war.

Agree with me or don't agree with me. I really could care less.

So you are an uninformed sheep if you feel someone should be able to inact their right to free speech?

I get tired of people on Bush, it is not easy being president. He has done the best job he can. But I do get tire of musician trying to prove they know what this Country needs!

I'd recommend you give the Warren Brothers' "Hey Mr. President" a listen.

Keep trying to twist my words.....but that is typical, isn't it?

My comment was in direct reponse to the Al-Qaida and phone tapping gibberish Tendrils was spewing.

It doesn't take the twisting of words to see that you are an unbelievable hypocrite when it comes to who does and does not have the right to free speech.

Keep thinking that to yourself but the simple fact of the matter is that it isn't true whatsoever.

Go back, read my posts, and you'll see that nowhere in any of them do I say that anyone doesn't have the right to free speech. Of course if fits your agenda to believe otherwise.

                              By the way.....your welcome.

But to exercise that freedom of speech to call the president a liar and request his impeachment is borderline treasonous, which is a crime. And I doubt you believe that committing a crime is a basic American right.

So while you've never used the actual term "free speech," by saying that calling for the president's impeachment and branding him a liar is treasonous infers that you consider such speech criminal and outside the statute of freedom-of-speech rights.

So how can you have it both ways?

It has nothing to do with all of the information that us great, unwashed, uneducated masses lack. It has everything with semantics. Simple semantics.

                                Take care,
