Don't get too attached to anything. Another reboot is underway this Spring/Summer.

Re: Comic Book Fans....
I dropped the few books I was buying waiting on more news. GL was already trying my patience.
Injustice is back to being my favorite DC title, the final year so far has been a welcome surprise.

Re: Comic Book Fans....
On side note picked up Punisher #1 and Punisher and DareDevil #1 and a little underwhelming so far; hopefully stories pick up.
Also I still haven't really gotten into the new Amazing Spider-man... getting better but it's been a little rocky first 12 issues. I do like the Spider-man\Deadpool one though.Comment

Re: Comic Book Fans....
My son loves the New 52 books. I've read some of them and they seem really good.
Why the reboot? I thought things were going well with this series?
The one disappointment my son had was they only released 1 graphic novel for Shazaam. That's his favourite character.Comment

Re: Comic Book Fans....
I've actually stopped reading the current comics for a while now but will return on the 25th (for both companies) once Rebirth starts for DC. Thankfully with Batman I don't see TOO much of a change in the status quo other than the obvious.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: Comic Book Fans....
For us ignorants, was there a large difference in storylines/origins between the New 52 and old books?
Was there a specific reason why they did the 52 in the first place? Did they want to fix some things? Or was it simply a reboot for money grab?Comment

Re: Comic Book Fans....
I think they did New 52 just to shake up everything and start kinda fresh. I'm sure they did change some origin stuff. And they changed what some characters to do.
For example, I have every Flash book from the New 52. They gave him the ability to basically see into the future for a short time, seeing every possible outcome of every possible action while he's fighting or running.Boston Red Sox

I hope they can be as "unauthorized" as possible and tell the whole story of the comic book media without the interference of Disney/WB.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: Comic Book Fans....
I would say start with "all out war" and go from there. TWD is the best book out, and I get about 10 books a week, nothing compares to TWD. I actually have begun to despise the show because the cliffhanger events are so contrived to meet at mid-season/season end. The book flows more organically. For instance big stuff occurred in issue #149 rather than push it to unfold in the #150 issue. The book follows a game of thrones approach where any character can die, and Rick has gone through so much more.....Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment
