Then your next read is this:

    Followed by:

    http://www.amazon.com/Batman-Vol-Dea...atman+volume+3

That volume 3 collection is one of my favorites... at least in the new 52 era.

Just finished Court of Owls. Damn that was a good read. Gonna have to go grab City of Owls tomorrow.

My boy has been reading JLA. Thinking I may grab him the Superman or Green Lantern series after.

I re-read Court/City of Owls while I was on vacation. The twists were good, the Talons/Court are an awesome set of villains, and Bats went through all the motions in a compelling manner. Even the one-off stories after the conclusion were pretty good, too.

Then after that you have Death of the Family. So, 3 amazing Batman stories right off the bat for Snyder. I really, really enjoyed this Joker. Snyder did a great job of showing just how good of a foil character he is to Batman - specifically his attention to detail and planning.

I still need to read all the owls stuff, I do have one of their masks though from a Batman movie showing by a local comic shop. Thing is creepy.

I just read Batman Earth One vol.1.... Wow, great read, very intriguing story into a re-designed Bat-mythos. I also purchased Superman Earth One vol. 1 and will probably read that later today. Has anyone read the Teen Titans one?

American Vampire is actually damn good. Its his own book on Vertigo. Stephen King wrote pat of the story in the first fie issues, then Synder is by himself for the rest. Around 34 issues. They are collected though. Amazon should have them.

Haven't read the Teen Titans one but the two Superman ones are clearly a step down from the Batman ones. It's alright though probably not worth the full price.

I've been catching up on my Sinestro run. Such a good run that Cullen Bunn is working on. Has anyone else been reading Sinestro??

Sooooo Batman #43... I'm starting to re-think my feelings on Snyder...

I've gotten to the point where my take away from the book is that I just LOVE Capullo's BEAUTIFUL artwork and FCO Plascensia's BEAUTIFUL colors.

Snyder did win a lot of clout with me from Court/Night of Owls, but since then its been disappointing storyline after disappointing storyline.

The current story is plotting towards
                              Spoiler

End Game could've been epic had Snyder jumped off the proverbial cliff and changed the game up w/ Joker, but that storyline about Joker's origins has essentially become nothing more than a "What If".

After this run is over Snyder's lasting legacy will be, other than adding the lore to Gotham of the owls, that he turned Jim Gordon into Batman for a few issues....

I'm glad I clicked that spoiler....It does seem the Joker origin turned into a huge "what if" mainly because he kept being coy about it and than that whole "is he an immortal being" BS. I've soured a bit on Snyder as well but the first half of his stewardship of Batman won a lot of fans. Too bad it seems like he's pissed all that good will away.
