Re: The Dark Knight Discussion **CONTAINS SPOILERS**
So I was thinking last night...Do you guys remember that other movies came out this summer? I had to pause and think about that for a second. This summer will be like the 2000 Dunk Contest. There was Vince Carter and....Yea... Everybody that went before him is forgotten and nobody can follow him.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

And....Gone!
Brilliant!
Just got back from the 'cinema'. The UK has offically launched TDK. They even gave out free holographic posters - which are very cool.Comment

Re: The Dark Knight Discussion **CONTAINS SPOILERS**
So, TDK is setting the box office on fire. Damn.
The latest one is it is the quickest film to reach 200 million in just 5 days.
I'm still itching for WB to ink Nolan for a third film.
Batman 3 speculation

Re: The Dark Knight Discussion **CONTAINS SPOILERS**
I know that the Nolans and Goyer worked out, at the very least, a story outline of a trilogy and I personally don't see Nolan leaving the series with Batman at rock-bottom without returning to Wayne Manor and restoring Batman's reputation in the City.
As for other stuff:
That's a pretty cool name-drop with Jarvis Tetch - the guy, I think definitely looks the part of a Mad Hatter, though I thought he was too far gone to really be a Batman level villain.
I like Bale's voice for Batman, but I think he over-did just a bit in TDK as I thought he did a better job with it in Batman Begins. In TDK, he sounds hoarse most of the time and makes it hard to understand some of his dialogue. It is okay for short responses, but when he summarizes and talks for multiple sentences, it gets a little overboard. But nothing beats his interrogation of Flass - SWEAR TO ME. Amazing stuff.
Speaking of Bale, sad news about his family. It seems like they're just money hungry and apparently his mom/sister made an insult to his wife, so definite no-no to talk trash about Batman's woman; though, his "flare-up" on the set of T4 doesn't help him.

Re: The Dark Knight Discussion **CONTAINS SPOILERS**
I think the biggest problem with Bale's Batman voice is it's overall too monotone. It doesn't really have its highs and lows... it just sticks to one pitch and doesn't fluctuate. Plus, his first scene in the bank really gave him a bad angle with his mask, and he looked like a bird.
But perhaps the unintentionally funniest line was when he sunk into the Tumbler and growled, "I'M NOT WEARING HOCKEY PADS!"Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
