I’ve thought of an excellent alibi for when you’re in Hong Kong, Mr. Bale.

      CHRISTIAN BALE
Does it involve me taking an entire ballet troupe to a yacht from which I will mysteriously disappear, arousing a great deal of suspicion?

      MICHAEL CAINE
      Sure does!

CHRISTIAN BALE flies to HONG KONG and abducts CHIN HAN, then brings him back to CHICAGO.

      This is great so far!

The only thing is Directors, Editors, and Producers wiilingness to take advantage of that.
Does this mean that they can show movies in their super wide format of 2.35:1 and still release a Blu Ray disc in 1080p at 1.85:1 (or whatever the exact numbers are) so I don't see any black bars? I would love that! Even if it meant chopping off the sides of the screen a little I would gladly accept a true HD picture that actually fills up my TV!

I wish I could go back in time twenty years (when I was a whole year old)...

Sit Anthony Michael Hall down, and tell him that in his movie career, he will be in one of the top grossing movies of all time.

How crushing would it be for him to find out it's in this capacity?

One of the members here. I can't remember who, once posted about how a few years ago he went with his GF to a friends house in NY or something and Hall was crashed out there and he was fried after smoking a few J's and was being a idiot with him and trying to hit on his GF.

Heath Ledger won Best Supporting Actor for a Motion Picture. I don't think it was nominated for anything else, including Best Motion Picture, Best Director, or Best Musical Score (though both James Newton Howard and Hans Zimmer, co-creators of the TDK score, were nominated for their scores in separate movies, though I forget what the movies were, and neither of them won anyway).

I expect a bigger appearance from the Academy Awards, and as long as Heath gets his well deserved AA, I'll be happy in the end. Best Picture will be a tough one, but if it gets it, I'll be giddy as a schoolgirl.

I don't really see Heath getting the Oscar - I'll be more than happy with a nomination. I think the Oscars are more Hollywood politics than anything else and giving an Oscar to an actor in a comic book movie (no matter how great it is) is something I don't see Hollywood doing. Then again, I hope I am wrong.

I'm sorry, am I confusing one awards show with another? Which one is coming up in February that everyone is hoping he gets (well, you and I at least) his Best Supporting Actor award in?

IMO, Heath would be a lock but comic book movies do not do well in terms of acting achievements at the Academy Awards.
