I was just watching them film a action scene from the movie at the old abandoned post office building downtown today. I caught it just as the cameras started to roll. The scene involved a school bus and I believe it was sopposed to crash into something cause it was proped up on some type of stage. As they started to call action, the building, somewhere on the top floor caught on fire. They had to evacuate the scene, the building and move all of their equipment out the way. The fire department came in deep. It was about 15 fire trucks but the blaze was pretty small if you ask me. It was crazy because the entire scene of fire trucks and paramedics looked more like a movie than what they were filming.

On another note, I'm mad because when I walked up to where they were shooting, some lady who was with the crew flatout lied to me and told me they were filiming some movie called Kisses with Roses or some ish. I asked who was in it and she told me she did'nt know, etc. I'm thinking why in the hell would there be an action scene of that magnitude in a movie called kisses with roses. WTF? Anyway, I rememberd that the news said they were filming Batman in chicago a few days ago so I put 2 and 2 together. That bitch though!

The codename for the movie is actually Rory's First Kiss or RFK. Nolan has a newborn son which he named Rory.

Every movie I've been on or my buddy has worked with does this just to avoid as much leaked info and pics as possible. Obviously with a high profile film like Batman its a little harder to keep it under wraps.

Hey nice work there Graphik! That's awesome that you were there. I'm jealous dude. LOL at that PR lady. Kisses with Roses huh? I thought they were dubbing it Rory's First Kiss, but that's funny. My friend, you have definitely stumbled onto the set of The Dark Knight!

Ahh...thats what she told me. Rorys First Kiss. I was like WTH? But I overheard plenty of ppl say it was Batman.

It was a few dudes who were security who kept saying "no pics" to anyone not involved. Of course I sneaked in a few with my camera phone from afar. One is the building that caught on fire and the other is of the set. Not good quality but you can make some stuff out.

According to a report in FREEZE DRIED MOVIES, (mouse-over to read) The Tumber will get blown up next week during the TDK shoot in the UK. If you remember, The Batmobile was going to get destroyed in BATMAN BEGINS, but Chris Nolan couldn't bring himself to do it. Thanks to all the BOF'ers who sent in the lead...
Duly noted, there's talk of a "Bat-Cycle" and maybe even a different -- or new -- Batmobile in TDK. We'll see -- and we'll also see if this even plays out.

I am one of those people who think he should be riding a unicycle because he could get so much done if he didn't have to have hands on a steering wheel.
