Re: The Dark Knight Discussion
I watched Begins for like the 10th -15th time the other night and every time I see it, Cilian Murphy just gets better and better as the Scarecrow - despite the small amount of screen-time he gets - the last scene with him, is just badass.
Anyway, I saw the trailer last night in front of I Am Legend and I am super pumped now - seeing the Joker walking down the street with a semi-automatic is magical.Comment

Not really related to TDK as much as Batman and the DC Universe, but Warner Bros. has decided to put the JLA movie on "indefinite hold."

I'm glad, actually. I wouldn't mind one after Nolan and co. are down with the third Batman installment, but anything involving Batman that isn't directed by Nolan should be shelved until then.

Yes I asked in the other thread. I mean what are they gonna do? Maybe they'll have to redo the final film where it doesn't include the Joker or to explain a change in appearance if they re-cast.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: The Dark Knight Discussion
He looks absolutely amazing as the Joker...and I mean they can't re-shoot the ending to have him die or anything...so what can they do?
Say the Joker was actually locked up in Arkham for the entire third movie and feature Two-Face?
Try and recast him like they are doing with Katie/Maggie?
Seriously, it sucks to sound selfish and talk about stuff like this when Ledger is dead...but I can't hlep it.
I'm just...incredibly sad right now.Comment

Re: The Dark Knight Discussion
Don't recast him. That would be a mess. They probably won't kill him either, considering it would be possibly insensitive to kill a guy on-screen who just died in real life. Just lock him away in Arkham and feature a different villain in the 3rd movie. I don't think it's necessary to kill him off to explain his non-presence in the 3rd movie. Guys like the Joker were always in and out of places like Arkham.Helen: Everyone's special, Dash.

Two Face is supposed to be the main attraction in 3, we all know that, but obviously they had plans for Ledger and the Joker in it. So sad, especially because of how simply amazing he looked.
It's disappointing as a fan of Batman and Ledger.Comment

Yep looks like the best thing to do is keep Joker in Arkham.
Maybe they can use the Penguin? Doesn't Two-Face also have a good relationship with Pengy?Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Wow what the hell I had no idea Ledger died.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment
