I dunno but I still dont know how to use it. Right now it shows my download of a couple songs is going to take just under 4 days.

I'm gonna check out Opera, but I'm really hoping I can move my FF bookmarks over, otherwise I'm gonna be a little annoyed, even if it is better, haha

EDIT: And BTW, when u first open Opera and they have their site and u can go to "More Features" or something like that, it lists Ad/Pop-Up Blocking as a feature, so that's good

I tried it out, it's no faster than IE and is using up more memory.

Are you using the Fasterfox extension with Firefox?

Why? Bittorrent can be, and is, used as a method of transferring legitimate, large legal files.

As for the BT problem with Opera, could be any or all of three things:

            1. Crap BT client built into Opera. (Probable)
            2. Very low number of seeders and very high number of leechers of file you're trying to get. (Very probable)
            3. You're downloading through a router, and the Opera BT client doesn't like that. (Possible)
            4. You're on dial-up. (Lord, I hope not. )

Pretty good and better than IE but like someone said:

              Firefox > Opera > IE

Firefox has been great for a while now, the extensions are amazing (not buggy nor hard to install). I do like the startup time and low memory usage by Opera but it isn't enough for me to switch.

After some time with Opera, these are my feelings exactly

After reading these posts I'm going with Firefox exclusively. I found that my "tiny url" toy can be gotten off of http://tinyurl.com/ so I don't need that widget.

i love opera. does everything i need. firefox is good but my computer isnt that quick and that memory leak kills me after awhile . once they fix that - ill go with ff but not until then.

Why when I'm in Firefox, I can't click on the NFL MLB NBA NASCAR+ ,etc.,etc. menu at the top? Is this adblock at work?

If you have both browsers but are operating only Opera at the moment, will FF still slow your CPU down?

Nope. FF only slows things down when it's opened and being used.

Even if it's open and not doing anything, it doesn't appear to suck up memory in large chunks.
