I love Safari too, and it has been my primary browser since I got my Mac(I've tried all the others, including OmniWeb!). For integration with the OS, you can't beat it(for obvious reasons). I've always kept Opera around as a secondary, but with version 9, it may just unseat it. FASTER, saved sessions, and default identification as IE, etc. Plus all the new extras.

Safari is developed by Apple itself, but has open source elements to it. It is based on a KHTML engine, which is different than what the mozilla family of browers has under the hood(netscape, mozilla, firefox, camino).Originally posted by RubenDouglas
