so I watched it cause I just couldn't resist... it's nothing we haven't seen, as it's all pretty much in the trailers they've run. Still it's freaking cool.

I dunno if I like 2 more than 1 or if I've just seen 1 so many times on TBS that its essentially been ruined for me.

Shoot it might be. I mean I've posted in this thread what, 5 times max? I don't really follow the news or anything. I just know I'm looking forward to seeing it.

The first Spidey movie was all set up for the sequels so of course it's gonna be "meh". I thought it was pretty good and the final scene was quite heartfelt.

The 2nd flick was VERY good especially the train scene. I expect even more action in S3 but some of the commercials i've seen make the movie look a little too jokey. I hope Spidey isn't too jocular. I know he's like that but being so light and fun during serious battle scenes can be off putting.

Unless it was stated earlier, official runtime is listed as 2 hours and 20 minutes. I expected maybe 2:30, but 2:20 should do. Hopefully there is still SOME dialogue within all of this action!

By the way, there hasn't been much said about Gwen Stacy. Will she play as large of a role in this movie as hoped?


I mean, think of what has to be fully developed in only 140 minutes:

- Peter and MJ
- Peter and GS
- Sandman
- Harry (is his name "Green Goblin" as well, or is it something else?)
- Venom
- Black Spidey [overall]


And anything else. Wow, I can't wait for this movie! I already can't wait for the Special Edition Uncut DVD!
