I'm not fond of the ending, but at least it starts a clean slate.

It can go just about anywhere from here.

I'd like to see a Metal Gear Solid type of story-line, but that's the inner nerd in me.

That would have been freakin' awesome to end that way.

It's been all over the internet. I would bet $12.75 that they shot and leaked that ending intentionally. TV Guide hyped the finale as "someone long thought dead returns".

yeah I see that now. I don't ever read spoilers or anything like that for shows. I would have been really disappointed if I thought the season would end like that and it didn't. Thanks.

I kinda enjoyed the fact that there was no cliffhanger this year, just the notion that the show can go any direction next year.
            Wow...

We totally disagree on both ends. I think this was one of the worst seasons of 24 ever, and does not even come close to being as entertaining as season 5. And that this finale was nowhere near as good as the Heroes season finale.

A Splinter Cell kind of storyline would be amazing, IMHO. They had a couple of Splinter Cell moments strewn about the show, and they were really cool moments.

I really wasn't excited at all about season 6's finale. It was the most boring finale I've seen of 24's yet. The soap opera has to be cut out of the show. It got too silly. I thought season 3's finale was bad, but this one took the cake as far as it being the worst season finale in 24 yet.

I was thinking something like a MGS or a Splinter Cell type story for next season. They set it up a little bit when Jack was blaming Heller and the rest of the government for not getting him out of China. I could see him going rogue kind of like they are supposed to have Sam Fisher in Splinter Cell: Conviction.

I liked the season finale, good end to a season that was only so-so.

I don't know if anyone else read the newest TV Guide article on 24, but it's a comment by Coexecutive producer Manny Coto...I'll give you a few quotes....and I guess these could be considered "spoilers," though they don't give anything specific away:

-"I wouldn't be surprised if there's no CTU next year. CTU has become almost too comfortable, you know? 'We need to carry out this operation - Chloe, grab satellite X and get us a feed!' That's gone."

-"It's a pretty radical shift - a totally different context with a totally different villain. THere will not be a ticking clock on a nuclear device."

-"Jack's not living under an alias. He's found a place he thinks he belongs and a job he enjoys that doesn't involve the government."

-"What's also refreshing is the choice of villain: It's not a Muslim terrorist. In fact, it's not a terrorist at all. And the character is fascinating, someone with a supremely dark past who's done something horrific. And whose amibition is to regain his stature in the world."

Just a few quotes, the article isn't much longer, but I'm excited for seaosn 7, and have been all season long.

Hell yes! But keep Nadia please. I like my generic Eva Longoria.

There better not be any Chloe baby clock. I don't care about her stupid baby.

That sounds cool. Is he a mall security guard?

It's Pac-Man Jones isn't it? That would be awesome.

Anyone else find it funny when after Chloe says she is pregnant, Morris says "With a baby?"

Although I wouldn't be surprised if their baby was a supercomputer of some sort.

He definitely grew on me over the season. I'm not sure when I started liking him, but I know I didn't care too much for him at the start of the year but I like him now.
