In my opinion, there are a gazillion shows on tv with heavy character development and personal relationship stuff. I want 24 to be like the Die Hard of tv shows...90% action and 10% personal stuff. I want it to be an escape from all the relationship drama most all shows fall into when the story lines start drying up.

Again, just my own opinion.

True. I'm hoping next season will be more along the lines of season 1, which had an excellent balance of personal issues and action.

I liked Morris a lot too... he just had some good lines and a sweet accent--The best "drama" at CTU was when Chloe and him were fighting and she finally said "at least I didn't help the terrorists arm a nuclear bomb"... hilarious

Having said that...I just finished watching it and it's extremely addicitive. Keifer 100% saves the show because NO ONE else can act at all. They're the worst bunch of actors I've ever seen. Watching Keifer act next to them is like watching Michael Jordan play street ball with a dozen 5'1 uncoordinated guys...

I watched series one...missed the rest and now just finished series 6.

The show has gone downhill a LONG way.

If they do make another series...they need to focus on Jack. He's the only interesting charachter and the only decent actor.

When that Milo guy got killed...the acting was appalling. These people were his friends and workmates, yet your average store mannequin has more facial emotion

you say you only watched season one and this one, and compare them? There were, in my opinion, better seasons in between than season one. Not many shows can keep things exciting for too long with the same recipe. They needed to shake things up this year, since they killed everyone off last season. They didn't do anything really new this year, which is why it was so bad, especially coming off from a great season last year and the nice cliffhanger with Jack being kidnapped by the Chinese.

I said i've seen series one...and now six.

And yeah, it's gone downhill in that series one was pretty cool. Not really plausible, but at least you *sort of* could semi believe some of the stuff going on.

I don't know about the series in between. But series 6 was off the charts ridiculous.

I agree re shows can't keep things good for multi seasons. It's one reason I am really surprised how good series six of 'The Shield' is.

After series 5...i did think "okay, leave it there fellas...you've run your race"...but The Shield is better than ever in series 6.

Hopefully 24 can bounce back also.

IMHO, season 1 was the best. I've seen all six seasons, and I think seasons 3 and 6 were the most disappointing. 6 was the worst, though it started off great. I can't believe how badly they messed it up.

I still think 3 is one of the best. Also because I think Chase was a good character, and that also had Tony so it was just damn good all-around.

Season 3 was awesome but the thing that pissed me off was Kim working at CTU. How did she go from being a total tard to a computer whizz in like a year and a half?

Marwan was smart. Just when they thought they had him, he had prepared for escapes in each scenario until the last part where instead of being captured he decided to go off in his own terms and fall off a parking structure.

Other villains in 24 probably can't rival Marwan.

Season 4's been airing on CBS Saturday nights at 1 AM for the past month or so (Sunday nights too, just a rerun from the previous night's episode)...I don't have this season on DVD yet, so it's great to watch again.
