I don't think Sawyer will die. I think plays to big of a role in all of this, and like others I see him becoming one of the new leaders on the beach. But it would really suck if they killed him.

Sawyer won't die until he at least has a chance at redemption for the two murders he committed. THEN after that watch out for him dying.

I think the actors that play Rose and Bernard have other projects they are working on and they just haven't been involved with Lost because of those conflicts. Not sure about the details, but I think thats a general answer for why they haven't been around.

Cast lists for the 'Charlie-centric' episode in two weeks have them listed. While they won't have a major role, I can see Locke at least sharing Rose's story about the island curing her cancer...another "special" person for the Others to look at.

The finale is going to be Jack-centric. Perhaps this is when we'll find out what he and Juliet are keeping secret?

Please Cuse and Lindeloff don't kill him! He's the best the show has!!!
Everyone gets what they want on the island. Thats why Michael and His son getting off the island was the key to the mystery.

Anyways Locke is walking, and he aint dead.
Charlie beat his addiction and he aint dead.
Jack met a new girl and he aint dead.

But then again the women and the pregency thing?

Or we'll just hear him say "Why didn't anyone tell me?" a hundred times. And have yet another flashback promoting his savior complex.

But Charlie is destined to die. Only Desmond has kept him alive.
Jack still has issues regarding his father. He's always trying to be better than him. I don't think his relationship woes were his problem.

I think there is a lot of truth to USF11's theory. But I hope he's wrong as Sawyer is easily my favourite character.

And think about Sun. Her Lost moment is that her marriage was in trouble. But now she knows her baby is Jin's and they made up. It makes sense that she dies from her pregnancy.
Locke could die now too because he's resolved his issues over his father as well. But maybe there's more to his story yet.

What Ben said about Locke 'bringing his father to the island', I'm starting to wonder if that's how the plane got there. Walt probably willed the plane to crash since he was tired of running around. Yet in reality, the real plane was found with no survivors.
However, this could also be a coverup from the Hanso group. They could have placed corpses in there and doctored up dental records, etc.

                    .
Not so fast my friend.....There was something fishy about the ultrasound, and I think Sun knows it and didn't say anything. I think Juliet made this whole thing up about Sun conceiving on the Island. I think that they will try to Kidnap Sun and she will be able to deliver the baby because it WAS NOT conceived on the island, but it will be a way for Juliet to show Ben that she has fixed the fertility problem.

Is it also possible that Ben is delusional to what's going on with the island?
He said that he was born and raised there. Maybe he was always brought up to believe that the island is magic and all these crazy things happening are based off it. But in reality it was this 'Jacob' or the Hanso group simply planting things on the island or f'ing with them while they slept.

Three straight posts with some interesting theories.

I just keep going back to the writers saying that everything that happens on the Island can be scientifically backed.

Not sure if magic can be. But, working within a controlled environment can be and at times controlled could appear to be magical.

I remember them saying that and I keep wondering how they're going to explain all of this. But I'm glad it's going to be something tangible. I would be pretty ticked off if it ended up being Aliens that were high and just wanted to F with some peoples lives.

I don't buy that anymore. Smoke monster? Time travel or seeing into the future? Locke and others being healed?

I know what you mean. I'm doubting it too. But they did say it and I'm hoping they stick to their word.

I just hope this doesn't end up being a virtual world that they're all plugged into. And as soon as you discover why you were "lost" and how you came to gripes with it, you were pulled from the machine.

But the helicopter and it's pilot kind of throw that theory off. Plus, with the Matrix movies and all it's copy cats I would hope the writers weren't as cliched as that.

I think that the whole Desmond situation is independent from the rest of the other Losties. While he is obviously intermingled with them now, I think his whole story is following a different path.
