Re: ***LOST Official Season 3 Discussion**** (Contains West Coast spoilers)
Awesome episode...This show rocks.
What was the title of the book that Desmond found with his picture in it?
It didn't look like Catch 22, although I'm fairly certain there was a 22 in it.Comment

Re: ***LOST Official Season 3 Discussion**** (Contains West Coast spoilers)
it wasn't Catch 22...it was a-something 22 but it was written by Joesph Heller so either they couldn't use Catch-22 for legal reasons or it was in a different language. Anyway...Desmond was in a Catch-22 in this episode. He's damned if he does because if saves Charlie he'll change the future, but if he lets it be Charlie will die.Comment

The chick pilot has to be in correlation w. the last scene from Season 2 when they show the two guys call up Penny. I bet the pilot they just found is w. the two guys."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Yeah thats what I was thinking. When she said Desmond's name it was as if she had a message for him.Comment

At least, how I remember it from years ago.Comment

Re: ***LOST Official Season 3 Discussion**** (Contains West Coast spoilers)
Ardil-22 is Catch-22 in Portuguese.
I liked the episode although it felt a bit... lacking for some reason. The fact that someone else got to the island is very intriguing though, meaning there is most probably a way out of the island. How they get off is another question.Comment

Has anyone else noticed that this is the 3rd aircraft to crash heading towards the island? There must be no way to safely travel over the island without being caught up in the magnetic field around the island.

Flight 815 crashed 'caused the button wasn't pushed. Yemi's plane, I forgot how it crashed (someone explain on this!). This helicopter, we don't know yet but we do know it isn't button related.Comment

Then how do the Dharma food drops happen. We haven't seen one in a while, but they are still eating Dharma oatmeal and such.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment

Re: ***LOST Official Season 3 Discussion**** (Contains West Coast spoilers)
I forgot to mention this a long time ago, but in Season 2, I think it was Sawyer reading a manuscript on the beach. Anyway, it was a book called Evil Twin. I bought the book and it was written by a fictional author that was last seen boarding the flight with the losties.
Anyway, the book wasn't very good and it didn't have really anything to do with lost. It was about two rich twin brothers and one ends up I beleive killing the other and assuming the others identity. That's not important.
In the book they mention Desmond and his race around the world to prove Penny's dad wrong. Penny's dad is the funding behind the Dharma project and Penny did indeed go lookingfor Desmond. It was a brief portion of the book and seemed of little significance at the time. I read the book a year ago now, so its kind of fuzzy.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment

I know it's been stated before, but if you guys aren't listening to the official podcasts for Lost, I highly recommend them. They are hilarious and really give you some insight into what is going on and what is planned for the future episodes.PS4: aBayBates

Re: ***LOST Official Season 3 Discussion**** (Contains West Coast spoilers)
No, no spoilers. They'll say, oh we've got another flashback planned for Desmond or something like that, but no spoilers. The one I'm listening too now (and the funniest so far, dated 2/20/07) said they think they'll do a Rousseu flashback sometimes in season 4. I get mine from iTunes. I'm sure they're on the Lost website too.PS4: aBayBates
