Great episode. Getting to actually see real connection between the mainland and the island. The trip on the sub. I'd agree that Juliet has no loyalty to either group and is going to do whatever she thinks will get her off the island. I'm thinking that the story Juliet told of how the Others saved Claire and the baby could be true. I can't wait for next week.

Take Ethan, for example, the guy had SUPER HUMAN STRENGTH in season 1, and I bet that the explanation for that will never surface.
Juliet had super-soldier skills too, when she was entering the building to bring Kate the sandwich and Kate tried to jump her. Juliet put her on the floor like it was nothing, and later displayed supreme reflexes and strength in wrestling the knife away from Kate in the jungle.

I think that issue is very much in play, I think the direction of the story hasn't changed from the beginning of the series, and I think the "super strength" issue will be explained before this series ends.

I am really starting to hate Jack. Hopefully Sayid and Sawyer give him a beating. Good episode, the last couple of episodes look really good.

But yet Anna Lou Chia-Pet, easily dismantled the other "Others" doctor, could knock people out with one punch, dig giant Tiger pits by herself and easily carry 200+ pounds of dead weight. So given the fact that Ethan had super powers and Juliet is so adept at hand to hand combat, how was Anna Lucia able to overcome the other doctor?

Jack is getting annoying, but we have to remember that if someone is really stranded somewhere that their instincts, actions, and thought process will change.

I'm still waiting for Nikki and Paulo to dig themselves out. Theres no way these graves that they dig can be that deep.

Ever since that horrible episode with Jack's flashback this show has been 5* material. And Juliet has knockers, man.

The previews almost seem to suggest that Jack begins to turn...Makes me wonder about that theory of him being Jacob.

Oh yeah, I got dibs that Locke takes over Ben's role.

I'm starting to wonder if there even is a Jacob. Especially with all the Wizard of Oz references surrounding Ben. (Henry Gale being Dorothy's father's name, arriving in a balloon the same way that Dorothy left Oz, etc....) I'm starting to think that Jacob is either what they call the smoke monster, or a creation built up by Ben like the man behind the curtain created the "great and powerful Oz."

                            It's the symbol for infinity.

Which, given all the "lost time" and time traveling references on the show, and the fact that nobody would ever tie a crooked knot like that on purpose, I'm guessing is significant.

Pretty good episode, although I never believed for a second that Juilet was no longer with the Others so the end didn't surprise me at all.

A lot was explained though which is a bonus.

I definitely agree w. some people that show has completely shifted away from it's original plot. It'll be very interesting when it's all said and done to go back and watch Season 1 again.

Jack is just weird now, I don't like that they're making Sawyer into a lovable guy now, he was much better as the asshat of the Island. You can just tell they're making him likable so they can kill him off. Boo.
