Just yesterday I read that the actor that plays Michael turned down an offer to come back for 1 or 2 episodes this year. That could be a planted story to make the surprise even bigger, but I don't know....

Re: ***LOST Official Season 3 Discussion**** (Contains West Coast spoilers)
well the reason i said this is because i listen to the podcast and the editor of the official Lost magazine (didn't even know this existed) said that he had an interview with either one of the writers or one of the actors (can't remember which) and they said something to the effect that we haven't seen the last of them, but who knows, i'm sure that could change.PS4: aBayBates

Yea, it's been rumored for a while now that Michael and Walt will be back for season four, but likely in a limited capacity because 1) Michael isn't interested in returning full-time to the show and 2) as already mentioned, Walt is hitting puberty."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

It's believed by their accent that Mathias and Henrik of the listening station were Brazilians.
No confirmation that the two are related, but hard to think that the writers would let something like that go through without some connection.
Besides, Naomi had Desmond's picture with Penny so we know that she must be working with Penny in some capacity (or knows of her)."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. Re: ***LOST Official Season 3 Discussion**** (Contains West Coast spoilers)
It's leading toward a Season Three cliffhanger revolving around Desmond again. I wouldn't be surprised if it's a revelation as to who Naomi is with, though it being Penny would be too obvious and perhaps a let down unless either her or Naomi reveals something that changes everything."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. The Portugese chick is someone hired by Penny to find Desmond.
I am positive that Penny's dad has a huge investment in the Dharma project & the island. Penny is very wealthy and has hired people to hunt for Desmond after he took off on his race around the world and his boat crashes. Of course Penny has no knowledge of the island or the crash, she is simply hunting for Desmond.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment

I might be way off track here, but it sure seemed like the pilot recognized the one-eyed Russian. She looked completely terrified when she saw him. Of course, he is pretty creepy looking. I'd be pretty scared too if I was told he would was my doctor.Comment

Re: ***LOST Official Season 3 Discussion**** (Contains West Coast spoilers)
Didn't Jin say Naomi was speaking something in Chinese that he couldn't understand? Wonder what that was.
Perhaps her saying she isn't alone somehow implies Penny is also coming or is already on the Island. Going back to Desmond saving Charlie, maybe by saving Charlie it switched who crashed between Penny and Naomi but Penny may be on the island.Comment

You know that question about being stuck on an island?
Forget who I want to bring with me. I'd just want to be on that Island with all those hot chicks on it."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied.
