I don't think Sawyer will die. I think plays to big of a role in all of this, and like others I see him becoming one of the new leaders on the beach. But it would really suck if they killed him.

No, its one of those story lines that goes unanswered, but I thought when Sawyer grabbed the "Mix tape" for Kate a few weeks back he said he took it from Bernard.
I would have imagined that Rose would have played a key role ala Locke, as she too was able to harness the healing power of the island. We'll see.Listen to some of my covers:

you know what scares me? Sawyers character arc ended last night... he got revenge on the real Sawyer and now has nothing left to tie him to the island.... And you know what happens when people get their personal life resolved on LOST...

Everyone gets what they want on the island. Thats why Michael and His son getting off the island was the key to the mystery.

Jack still has issues regarding his father. He's always trying to be better than him. I don't think his relationship woes were his problem.
I think there is a lot of truth to USF11's theory. But I hope he's wrong as Sawyer is easily my favourite character.
And think about Sun. Her Lost moment is that her marriage was in trouble. But now she knows her baby is Jin's and they made up. It makes sense that she dies from her pregnancy.
Locke could die now too because he's resolved his issues over his father as well. But maybe there's more to his story yet.
What Ben said about Locke 'bringing his father to the island', I'm starting to wonder if that's how the plane got there. Walt probably willed the plane to crash since he was tired of running around. Yet in reality, the real plane was found with no survivors.
However, this could also be a coverup from the Hanso group. They could have placed corpses in there and doctored up dental records, etc.Comment

Is it also possible that Ben is delusional to what's going on with the island?
He said that he was born and raised there. Maybe he was always brought up to believe that the island is magic and all these crazy things happening are based off it. But in reality it was this 'Jacob' or the Hanso group simply planting things on the island or f'ing with them while they slept.Comment

I remember them saying that and I keep wondering how they're going to explain all of this. But I'm glad it's going to be something tangible. I would be pretty ticked off if it ended up being Aliens that were high and just wanted to F with some peoples lives.Comment

I just hope this doesn't end up being a virtual world that they're all plugged into. And as soon as you discover why you were "lost" and how you came to gripes with it, you were pulled from the machine.
But the helicopter and it's pilot kind of throw that theory off. Plus, with the Matrix movies and all it's copy cats I would hope the writers weren't as cliched as that.Comment
