another funny scene was when nikki was telling paulo to go up to that plane where boone died and paulo was like, "do you want me to die?"

edit: also funny that Vincent was taking off the tarp. dog probably knew they were alive. lol

well i guess we dont know but its a much cooler ending if they died the way they did. i mean how lame would it be if in the beginning of the next episode they just dug themselves out?

That was a twisted episode! Loved how they weaved their back-story over the course of LOST's 3 seasons. Also, Boone and Shannon!

I'm guessing Paulo is really dead 'cause there were a lot of spiders going at him. Nikki, well, sucks for her that she woke up being buried alive. You never know though, they might suddenly crawl back up and we'll get a Hurley line.... "Oops! Sorry dude."

Good episode, but it moved the overall storyline ahead about 30 seconds. That's the only disappointing thing about it.

Agreed.... but damn, when you examine the episode beside that point it was really good.

Oh yeah, by itself, it was actually one of the better episodes to me. Whole thing was paced really well, as well as a good story. Just had nothing to do with "Lost" per say, nor did it raise or answer any questions. I mean, I'm sure we were all dying to know who Boone was asking for a pen from.

IMO this joke got old after the 3rd time he said it. It was funny a couple of weeks ago, but last night it seemed forced, which made it kinda lame.

I agree w. those who said it was a very good individual episode but it was so oddly placed in the grand scheme of Season Three.

We knew barely anything about Nikki (who is gorgeous and should have been on this show much more frequently!) and Paulo and then they get their own episode that takes us from the crash up until present time. It was also kind of a letdown that their paralysis wasn't from the black smoke or the island or something - it would have been cool if there was no rationalization for their coma/death (which I guess is how the other Losties are viewing it right now).

Overall, a very good episode. It was just odd though.

How come Zorro didn't wake up a little before Nikki did? Or were we to assume he was repeatedly bitten by that incoming horde of medusa-spiders?

That's a good question and a good assumption. He was also bit by a female while Nikki was by a male. Maybe it's like other spider species in that the females are large and carry heavier doses of venom.

Am I the only one that thought this episode was worhtless. She wasn't in the pilot or anywhere in season one. It looked pretty fake how they added her into the season 1 footage. This was just another filler, the only thing of substance was Charlie's confession.

Anyway, I was thinking about Sun.....was she ever really pregnant, did she have the baby?
