LOST is a very confusing show. I remember watching the Pilot episode, and thinking it was going to be about a plane crash, and how/if the survivors got rescued. The show is a lot crazier than what I had imagined it being.

I'm pretty sure that Noami and Locke's father referencing "found wreckage and dead bodies" of Flight 815 is simply a a diversion/cover up created by the Others so they could have the Losties on the Island without anyone looking for them.

It explains why no search parties have come looking for them, outside of the one for Desmond.

If anything though I'm more confused about the Island. Locke's dad brought up the idea that they are already dead but that cannot be because it would only pertain to the crash survivors, not the others who willingly travelled to the Island.

Something he said along the lines of the place not being an Island has me all rattled. More to be revealed there is.
Cuse and Lindeloff have done this before. They have brought up fan theories on the show to show they listen and to also prove the fans wrong.

One such example is when Desmond said there was no way to get off the island and that it seems like it is surrounded by a snow globe.

I wouldn't take Cooper's comments literally. The man thought he died and therefore came to the conclusion that he was in hell. There was a build up to him revealing that. The buildup was to make the viewers feel as if he knew something we didn't. But, all he knew was that he wasn't back home.

Funny...I was thinking the exact same thing while Sawyer was massaging his poor feet in the water.

The show is a lot deeper than anyone could have imagined. In fact, I'd argue that it is the very reason people are beginning to tune away. I don't think some initial viewers were expecting to watch a mystery show. They just wanted Grey's Anatomy on an Island.

That's probably one of the main reasons I watch every Wednesday. I love the fact that it is so deep. The show actually makes me think, unlike most shows on TV.

I agree. The Others or DHARMA have definitely setup a fake plane crash with dead bodies to cover up the fact that the Losties are still alive somewhere.

It prevents people starting a search party as you suggested. It's likely the reason why Desmond is the one people are looking for and why I will continue to believe that he is the most important character on this show. Without him then the show falls apart in many areas. Think about it.

That's why I watch. And Lost still gets solid viewership every week.

If people tuned away from a great mystery show then they just didn't want to watch a mystery show. I can't see how anyone could not want to watch this show if they like being forced to think and figure out something on their own.

Tonight was just amazing. Interesting to see what Jack and Juliet have planned. I think they have a plan to get off the island and this girl is gonna tell us why, if she isn't an other?

Also on May 17, Lost: The Answers will be a recap of the show and preview the season finale. Can't wait.

                  BTW, Next Week...

When the show ends, they better have a few recap shows where they answer all the questions

hahaha yeah right... I have no doubt in my mind that LOST will end with a cliff hanger that will never be resolved because Cuse and Lindeloff like to screw with us so much!

Seriously though, I'm starting to think that I shouldn't count anything that happened in Season 2 as actually being part of the LOST lore... the only things that survived from that season were Ben and Desmond, of course they're huge parts of the show, but compared to Season 1 and Season 3, Season 2 is a big WTF!

Then they must have some resources we haven't seen. How the heck did they transfer big chunks of plane wreckage into the ocean?
And a lot of help off the Island. Somehow they staged an auto accident and kidnapped Locke's Dad?
How is it that an Island of this size is uncharted? I believe the parachute girl was sent by Penny. It doesn't make sense that she is an Other's spy since she was found dying.
So many questions, I can't wait till next week.

Penny's dad is a Cha-billionaire and he is funding the Dharma project. Penny has cash from her dad and hired the team to look for Desmond who was on a race around the world to prove Penny's dad wrong, that he was able to accomplish something. Penny's Dad captured Desmond and threw him on this "island" where he couldn't be found so he wouldn't marry Penny.

Something tells me that they aren't on an island. The island is more of a figurative term than a literal term.

Jack's character is rock bottom and Juliets stupid stare is annoying. How stupid is Kate running to Jack like a little school girl.............

Did we discuss what Juliet said to Jack along the lines of "We should tell her," after Kate came snitching? Jack said not yet, what are they talking about? Kate being pregnant? Jack knowing they are coming to snatch the mothers? I wish it was Jack who Desmond kept seeing die, can't stand that guy.

Why would anyone hat Jack? His lines are brilliat, "Why didn't anyone tell me?"
