That looks like a DS Lite, LOL.

What about these two, anybody pick this up? I'm very close to pulling the trigger on Sirius over XM..

      Re: Sirius Satellite Radio

I got mine for Christmas last year and I absolutly love it. My favorite channels are 1(Sirius hits), 6(60's), 7(70's), 9(The Pulse), 14(Classic Vinyl), 15(Classic Rewind), and all the sports channels. I dont know why but here lately I've been hooked on ESPN Radio(120). I love sitting there listening to all the shows all day long including Mike and Mike in the Morning and the Dan Patrick Show but all in all I love my Sirius Satellite radio.

Cool man. Glad you got it. I'm diggin Ferall on Howard 101 from 8 to midnight right now. The other night he had John Renshaw on as a cohost and it was like I was in college all over again. I'm really impressed with the service as well as the music, but I've listened to much more sports than music so far.

Yeah, I've been listening to Ferall the past two nights, pretty funny stuff. What do you listen to during the day?

They HAVE to make one or they'll lose subscribers to XM I would think.

thats the problem with Sirius.. it seems that they are a little "behind" when it comes to newer technologies... by the time they come out with a true portable player, XM will have had ones with MP3 capability out since about the end of March...

My aunt has it on her TV for some reason and I was watching the house last week (therefore watching the TV).

Anyway, I really enjoyed it especially all the rock stations. I loved the Jam On station dedicated to jam bands. Faction struck me as a very odd mix so I listened to it a bit.

I listen to Howard until noon
                      12-1pm 2 G's Soccer -channel 122
1-3pm World Soccer Daily -ch 123
3-4 Dan Patrick Show -ch 120
                      8-12 Ferrall Ch 101
12-2 or 3am-Bubba the Love Sponge

I also listen to a little NFL radio and really haven't listened to much music at all, but when I do I listen to Shade 45 and the Jam Bands channel (19 I think)

The two soccer shows are easily my favorite things to listen to. I just wish they'd cover SerieA and Bundesliga more, but I'd guess since those are on XM, they're supposed to concentrate more on the EPL.

I really and honestly think that either XM or Sirius will buy the other out before too long.

Well, after the my first full weekend of Sirius, I must say that I'm hooked. i've set up my channel presets (band A for music, B for talk, nothing on C yet). I've listened to the Nfl network and blue collar comedy the most probably, there are a few people on the bcc channel that are absolute riots. I've got to clean up the wiring in the car, but its working ok right now. Can't wait to get the boombox so I can enjoy it when i'm home and at work.

                              Anybody have the boombox?

I've used my brothers "boombox" quite a bit and it works just fine if your in an area where signal strength is not a problem. I've turned the volume way up while working out and the sound quality is pretty dam good imo. I've found no problems with it at all except for the antenna. It's on a ridiculously long wire I guess so you can drag it and stick it out the window.
