Yeah, apparently she was one of those mothers who lived vicariously through her daughter's success. You won't believe how many other mothers do that kind of crap to their little girls.

It's quite disgusting really.

To be fair, one reason so much suspicion was on the parents is that the police did a horrendous job of securing the crime scene when they arrived at the house. In fact, the parents and some neighbors helped the police search the house. JonBenets dad is the one who found her in the basement, and carried her lifeless body upstairs and showed her to the police.

Depends on your perspective. I mean the girls are very young hence their minds are molded to a huge extent by the way their mothers and fathers raise them. So if a mother is pushing the girl towards modelling and beauty contests then of course the girl is going to "want" to participate.

It's all in the conditioning of the child's mind.

Yeah, actually, those childhood modeling things are creepy. Wouldn't mind putting my daughter into modeling if she wanted to do that, but only when she's in early teenage life, not when she's 5-6 years old.

Personally it sounds OK, but that would not be the best thing for your daughter. It teaches that beauty is the only thing. And being rejected too is not good for the kid. If they don't fit the look they are looking for! They go though so much bad stuff that I don't think it is worth it, but that is just my opinion as a parent!

My brothers wife is the cousin of jonbenet, kinda odd. I never realized it until her dad sent them china for their marriage and i looked at he name from who it was from, and his wife told me who she was and how they are related. I never realised her maiden name was ramsey!

Actually, he doesn't really fit the profile of one in my opinion.

I took Criminology 2 semesters ago, and i learned that a lot of these child molesters had deformed faces, were extremely ugly and had rather large builds.

THe guy's ex-wife said he was in Alabama when the muder happened and that HE was obsebbed with the story so this guy might be crazy and says he did the murder to get his 5 minutes of fame but might not have done it.

Well if he did it or not that still sounds pretty F'ed up. I guess if the guy's ex-wife or someone associated with him wants to put up a defense they could easily go with the insanity plea.
