I hear that prison in Thailand is brutal. Wonder if he could of made this story up so he could get away from serving time there.

That is a good thought! That happen a lot about Cops messing up the crime scenes because they think something else!

Agreed. I think they probably have the right guy but man, the things he's saying are just strange.

I am beginning to think he did not do it...think about it

          1) obsessed with jonbenet
          2) has a book about her
          3) facing major time in thailand prison so he'd want to get to america, even if he's going to american prison
          4) he's now mega-famous
          5) everyone will want to talk about the jonbenet case with him (see #1)
          6) things he is saying about the sexual aspects don't match up the investigators say
          7) his ex-wife has said he was with her (why would she lie?)
          8) he has no ties whatsoever that police can find to the ramseys

At first I really thought he did it but I think most of the public thinks when someone confesses they are guilty but from what i've read the police get tons of false confessions, especially from people already facing jail time with nothing to lose. I think this guy is a slimeball pedophile but he didn't do this particular crime.

Cops usually solve a lot of cases based more off of reaction or non-reaction than just hard evidence.
O rly? Do you have evidence that cops "usually solve a lot of cases based more off of reaction or non-reaction than hard evidence"?
I didn't know you had to be a facial expression recognition expert in order to be a detective. I find this assertion to be quasi-absurd and based in little to no fact.

As for my opinion on this: It's very difficult to get a good read about anything relating to this case because there are so many ******* whackos and nut jobs spreading their cockamamie conspiracy theories. The result of this is an excess of distorted information and lack of accurate data.

Just based on my perfunctory persual of the latest developments in this case, I am highly skeptical of the culpability of the man arrested, Karr. To me, it sounds like he is another whacko obssesed with this case whose screwed up mind actually thinks he is responsible for the murders.
Of course, it is possible he is guilty and I think it is likely he committed other sick crimes (who the hell flees to Thailand? come on), but I'm just not sure he's the perp here..

after some research, the $118k asked for in the ransom letter was the exact amount of a bounus just received by John Ramsey.

After watching more coverage of this tonight, I agree with you. I hadn't paid that much attention to the story today and I was still going off what the media had reported yesterday, you know, when they reported that he knew specifics of the case that no one else could of known and that there was a DNA match.

It's sad to say but it looks like they've screwed up this investigation once again.

Let's just wait for the DNA, handwriting analysis and such before we come to the conclusion that they messed it up. But with the media they and the father sure did. (saying we got the killer before anything was even tested)

Re: Arrest in Jonbenet Ramsey case

its crazy how this is back in the spotlight. im hearing how she died, how they found her all over again.. its all over the news... sadly, and maybe bad on my part, i thought id only hear about it once.. only with a 6 year old who was in beauty pagents (a story america seems to love) and someone whos rich would get second air time like this.

i know of so many other unsolved murders only to get solved later on.. they get a small blurb in the newspaper, maybe.

i dont get the fasination with this case.

This is really messed up. I guess the DNA will tell the story. I am mixed on whether this guy did it or not. He fits the pedigree, but there seems to be too many oddities.

The thing about the wife saying they were in Alabama(or was it Colorado?) at the time probably will clear his name. It seems like she has extensive proof to back this up too.
