Re: Heroes (NBC, Mondays @ 9PM)
The father is probably a recurring character.
Perhaps Nathan?"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

But, I'm thinking that the father is just around to give Hiro a hard time and teach him to be stronger (though, Hiro is growing with every episode).
Maybe, he'll teach Hiro how to focus."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. Heh, for some reason I was here thinking Linderman might be Claire's father. Nathan is a good one too though.
Actually, I had a fleeting thought that HRG migh actually be Claire's dad from an affair, and that he "adopted" her as a way to keep it from his wife.
Man this show is great, I can't wait until next week.PS: You guys are great.

Speaking of Claire, did her mom light the cigarette with her fingers?

Nathan can't be Linderman, Isaac's girlfriend knows Linderman because that is one of her clients. Nathan and her met many times already.
From the previews from next week shows Clarires mom calling Claires dad, and my guess is Claires real father is Linderman.Comment

Re: Heroes (NBC, Mondays @ 9PM)
I think Claire's Dad is Nathan.
I also think that Hiro's Dad is just trying to get his Son to give up this "mission" and go home. I think it's really that simple.
Good episode... I totally marked out when Claire's Mom lit the square with her fingers.Listen to The Remodeling Clay Podcast!

Wow. this is the first time I've watched this show, and it's maybe one of the most boring and poorly acted shows I've seen recently. it's terrible.Comment

It's not one of those shows you just jump right in on. Character development and the overall storyline is what makes it good.Comment

Perhaps you're right. With no real connection or care for the characters, perhaps there's nothing for me to grab onto with a show like this.Comment
