Re: Heroes (NBC, Mondays @ 9PM)
Decent episode back. Forgot how slow these shows move...
I've been watching Weeds, Arrested Development (for the fifteenth or fiftieth time), and Survivor and all of them are moved along at a good pace. My patience for drama when superpowers are involved is not good...The line must be drawn HERE! This far, no further!Comment

Re: Heroes (NBC, Mondays @ 9PM)
Hiro might have a tough rode ahead of him.
If future Hiro is still trying to fix the explosion of the past, I wonder when or if we'll ever get to see the Heroes actually save New York City."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Re: Heroes (NBC, Mondays @ 9PM)
I think this is the first time all the heroes were in the same episode. Everything is tying together now. I love the part where Parkmen communicated with Bennet to get out of the factory. Sounds like Bennett knows how to take their powers to the next level.
This episode really showed off a lot of powers by multiple heroes. What I really want to know is what Grandma Patrelli's powers are? We now know a little bit of Linderman's power. Is it that he can give back life? Reverse time for a single object?
What I want to see is how is Silar going to use powers he has stolen but not have used yet like super hearing or turning medal into puddles of matter. I remember in the begining episodes of heroes he has killed like the iceman guy and some others i believe but don't recall right now.
What is everyone's take at the end where we see multiple time lines created by Hiro? It's so facinating. Great great episode, and I gotta say that was probably the best intro of the season.Comment

Re: Heroes (NBC, Mondays @ 9PM)
I don't think that timeline was created by Hiro. I think it was Sylars. I think we'll find out next week. My understanding is the entire episode next week is 5 years into the future.Listen to The Remodeling Clay Podcast!

Re: Heroes (NBC, Mondays @ 9PM)
What's messed up though, when Hiro first went into the future, he went into Isaac's and Isaac was dead. Now he goes in, Isaac's still dead, but Sylar created a timeline, what caused the ripple?
And yes, next week is 5 years into the future. God I love this show.Comment

Yeah, that was definitely Sylar's timeline from painting everything.

Re: Heroes (NBC, Mondays @ 9PM)
Could it be future Hiro's timeline then? He's maybe retracing all the steps to figure out what went wrong maybe?Comment

Re: Heroes (NBC, Mondays @ 9PM)
It has to be more than a few days after Isaac was killed because Linderman said that the bomb goes off after Nathan is elected... Nathan said last night that the election is in a week... so it's got to be a little further off then that.
The thing with the time jumping is, I think it will constantly tweak as we move through it. That's a beautiful freedom that the writers have in that it doesn't always have to mesh perfectly.
My big question is who the Messenger kid who got the sketch book is. Obviously Isaacs drawings of the future and how to kill Skylar are in that book. I only wonder if that was someone that Linderman sent or if he will have some sinister bearing on the show.Listen to The Remodeling Clay Podcast!

That sketch book is somewhere, I highly doubt that book ever got to the publisher.
I give them credit though, they have written an amazing show with so many characters and kept them all pretty fresh.Comment

Re: Heroes (NBC, Mondays @ 9PM)
Great, great episode. I used to be a diehard for Lost and Smallville, but since this show started I've dropped Smallville and Heroes has superceded Lost as my #1.
Did anyone else notice any big changes to Sylars painting of Petrelli in the oval office compared to Isaac's? I've been looking on the web for a picture of it but can't find one anywhere.Comment

Re: Heroes (NBC, Mondays @ 9PM)
I think it was just darker and more ominous. Might have been because Sylar is not an artist... but it also is likely the future where they don't stop the bomb and kill Skylar. Essentially, what we will see next week.Listen to The Remodeling Clay Podcast!
